I finally get why people love drippers! :D

I've been working with my "beginner" APV setup for the past couple of months - an iTaste vv v3 - and I have about ten mini protank 2s and 3s that I rotate throughout the week (as well as some failed Aspire ET-Ss and a failed mini Vivi Nova-S BDC that I should probably try to resurrect, as well as the decent-but-not-remarkable Smoktech Aro 2). I wanted something to make juice tasting easier, so I picked up a little $5 A6 single-coil dripper, as well as a Smoktech Dripper (of which I am not a fan). Wrapped some coils using 28g and 30g wire, wicked with cotton, but didn't get much out of the experience, wasn't really impressed, and chucked them in a drawer.

So yesterday, I finally drilled out the hole on the A6, packed more cotton into the deck, made sure my coil was dead-on with the air hole, cranked my little vv v3 to 11w, and...WOW! Huge clouds! Great flavor! Holy smoke! A friend tried it as well, and she choked on the vapor and handed it back to me.

Can't believe this little $5 piece of steel WAY outperforms my clearos, even on my "beginner" battery.

I should have a Stingray clone and a sigelei 20w in my grubby little paws early next week - can't wait to see how this little ERA performs on them! :)

Imma happy vaper...

Wait till you start splurging for higher end dripping atomizers. The flavor and vapor production will be even better.

aha! thats where the fun really starts...picked up my second Brass Monkee last night. with what might be the last mech i buy expected within 2 weeks my vaping experience has never been better. now it's up to me to make all this stuff work as good as it can... like everyone else...who knew? just glad i found out (along with OP ).

Wait till you wrap a 0.5 ohm or lower coil for that stingray...Then you will start to have clouds! If you run the 30 amp sony, it's possible to get around 120 watts. Personally would stay at or above .25 ohms that's 16 ish amps, 71 watts with a fully charged battery. Just make sure your battery can take the load and always check for shorts and your good to go. Lazy people like me use Ohm's Law Calculator . Have fun and vape on!

The closest that I can get to an RDA experience out of a tank is, oddly enough, is to go in the opposite direction.

In my Russian 91% or my Kayfun 3.1, I use 7 or 8 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal, which is a big fat coil.

I then set my Provari at 3.1 volts. (this is why the Provari is my favorite VV mod. Downregulation...it's the only mod that I know of that can)

I get 95% of the dripping flavor, and 70% of the vapor production of a .45 RDA setup. (below that is too warm of a vape for my tastes, lol)

If I want to drip and drive, I use my REO. Looking forward to my VapeMate as well :)

My stingray is impressive. If you got the brass, make sure you get some Blue Magic metal polish from the automotive store to keep it pretty. Also read up on battery safety and don't use ICR batteries!

imo try out a tank system now like kayfun or kraken!!

Got a cheap Kayfun Lite coming with the Stingray, and I'm sure I'll pick up a Taifun and maybe the Lite v2 soon. I do want to try a genny, but haven't figured out which (and I'm on a serious budget). Might just go with the Pyrex RSST, as that seems most solid for the price (from what I've read). :)

Thanks for the advice! I've got a couple of Sony VTC4s for the Stingray (and Panny PFs for the Sigelei), so no worries there. :)

I'll check out Blue Magic, but I was thinking of using my already-bought Brasso - any reason Brasso is a bad choice for a brass mod?

Might even be better, I've never used it. I just worry about the engraving

Loved my Pyrex rsst. Easy to build, easy to drill. Takes practice though building
