I find it disturbing that over a half million views were made on the RY4 thread and the CASAA call to action thread has only seen about 10% of that number. Well hopefully that's enough to as it is 50,000. If we fail at this what will be your answer this question. Did you do anything to help?
I'm avoiding the CASAA calls to action completely because there's no way I'm sending their form letters, or writing to my representatives at the same time as they're being deluged with said form letters.

Honestly, I don't think that form letters are the most effective advocacy effort. That's why we encourage members to edit the letters to send a personal message. We also create CQ Roll Call campaigns asking members to make phone calls, which are actually quite effective forms of advocacy.
In any event, rather than dismiss the entire CASAA Call to Action effort completely, you might want to check them out . . . how effective they'll be depends in large part on how much effort you put into them.

We're still trying to figure out the best way of handling these campaigns. We're moving more towards having the entire email editable except in situations where we feel it's imperative that we have a consistent message (and in the latter case, we're going to try to keep the uneditable portions very brief).
Too bad you can't take the signed CTA notices and store them up and steadily release them over a few weeks-months instead of just pushing them out as soon as they're signed.
I agree. I've commented on this once before. They just don't understand what is at stake. They will not have a forum to go to and talk about their clouds, flavors and gizmos. They will go back to cigarettes because vaping will become extinct. This is serious.
