Just got stopped by the cops! I was coming back from Subway with my daughter in the passenger seat, just vaping away. Anyway, a local policeman stopped me for smoking with a child present in the vehicle. I had to show him my 510 and explain to him there was no smoke involved. He seemed intrigued, and after a brief visit and handshake, sent me along my merry way. I was trying to figure out what I'd done when I saw the blue lights behind me . Me and my daughter both got a kick out of it.

Thought I'd share with the vaporites.

Just curious, where do you live that you will get pulled over for smoking with a child present in the vehicle?

Arkansas, it is illegal, and I kinda happen to agree with that law. Although I smoked analogs before I started vaping, I was also a child whose parents smoked with me in the car, and I can remember not being able to breathe. I had bronchitis constantly as a child. I never exposed my daughter to smoke in enclosed environments. Now that I vape, I don't have to worry anymore, except maybe for the occasional pullover apparently. I still find it rather humorous that he stopped me, but he was just doing his job.

I don't have that problem in my city, although I do not vape in public just to avoid questions I do not hide from the cops but they have not notice it

I live in a very small town. I'm guessing this incident will probably be the highlight of the police department at least for today. In any case, the cop was polite, even initially when he thought it was a cigarette i was smoking. What's funny is he called in backup..waited for another cop to show up before he approached the vehicle? I found that odd, lol.

I wish they would quit making laws and more laws. Half the time no one even knows what the laws are because they make so many. Enough is enough. We have enough as it is. If they want to do something, then they should pull over the dangerous people, that can't unglue the phone from their ear. What in the heck do you need to talk to someone while your driving? That is so stupid to pull someone over for smoking in their own car. Stupid. Go catch a criminal.
