I found a nice little organizer for my mods on ebay!

I just bought this on ebay. Wood Tones Desk Organizer - Remote Control/Desk/Pe. It seems a good size to use as a caddy for my mods. I'm going to line the comparments with something pretty and soft, perhaps thick velour or suede so my mods don't get scratched. I already keep my batts, cartos, juice, and stuff in a drawer, so I don't need them out, just my purty mods.

Absolutely! I have to get my mods 1st. I think this has possibilities. If, for some reason, it doesn't work out, it'll look nice on the coffee table holding a gazillion(okay, I'm exxagerating) remotes, channel guide, and coasters.
