I was just wondering why this would be the case. I've tried them both with an adapter and KR808 and without an adapter with Boge 510's. The superior vapor production of the Rivas (from a new 900mah kit that's terrific. Thanks for changing suppliers, LF!) and greater taste with several juices would be obvious to anyone. Has anyone metered the voltage on these batts, and if so, what did you find that might explain this? Just curious...

Yeah... the Riva batt's will come off the charger around 4.2v! this should roughly equate to a working voltage of 3.9v. This will drop to about 3.3v just before depletion.

Due the the Pulse Width Modulation of the EGO batteries, they will be very consistent, around 3.4-3.5v, from freshly charged, until they are depleted.

for example... using a 2.5 ohm carto...

An eGo, at 3.4v, will produce ~4.6watts, and the Riva @ 3.9 will produce ~6 Watts. That's nearly 30% MORE POWER!
You would need a 1.9 ohm carto, on the ego battery, to reach the same 6 watts.

You can find a handy Ohms Law Calculator here: Ohm's Law Calculator (just enter voltage, and resistance, and hit calculate)

Cheers,
Ty
