Just took delivery of mine. Very quick service, even allowing for the Bank Holiday weekend when it was ordered.

This is very different ..... in a good way. It's taking me a little while to get the most comfortable way to hold it, but it's a sleek, nicely balanced thing. I think I'm getting the hang of it. I've been using it for all of half an hour.

The vaping experience is very different. In a good way. In a very good way. :)

I, too, am happy with my SD. I managed to burn out a circuit using an 801 adaptor, so I had to send it back to the Mothership for repairs. Trog repaired it the same day as he received it, and mailed it back that same day. Wow. Simply wow. (Needless to say, I've given up on the idea of an adaptor and will content myself with 901 atomizers. )

It's simply amazing to have batteries that last so long. I mean, I love my Dura-C, but when I go out and about with it, I have to have a handful of batteries with me. With the SD, I take an extra battery with me, but I have yet to need it, even after 6 hours.

I'm a big fan of the Dura C myself, Julie. In fact I'm a big fan of the Janty stuff in general, but the battery life was a big factor in deciding to get a Screwdriver. I won't get it into work though - it'll set of the security scanners and I don't fancy having to go through the rigmarole of explaining it, so the Dura C will fit the bill for that as it doesn't set any of the alarms off! :D I need 3 Dura C batteries for work because the PCC does. It really is a pain.

All I can say is that the SD is a completely different vaping experience to anything I have tried so far. It's very like 'real smoking', I think. I'm having difficulty finding an adequate explanation. Anyway, it's good to have a variety of models in your arsenal - I don't want to be caught with the same uncertainty that has beset our American cousins recently.

The knack for holding it, for me, seems to be to resist the temptation to hold it too tightly and use the inside of my ring finger to activate the switch. Oh, and it's much smaller than you may think, far from the hand grenade that I first thought it was from online pictures.

Did I mention that I think I am out of my face? :D

It was a toss up between the SD and GG. I'm glad I went with the Screw Driver (had it for 5 days now). Perfect size for a mod., smooth and streamline, smooth and cool hitting vapor (cool as in temperature wise). Excellent customer service and forum (Trogg Cave) for it. And the SD flue cured juice....excellent. I couldn't stop vaping the stuff, simply delicious in my book (ordered a case of it!).
