Hello everybody!
Looking for anyones input on mini cigarette sized ecigs. Let me start off by saying I work in a prison and am not allowed to have electronical devices inside the facility. We have a "smoke box" outside where people put their cigarettes. And I'm not about to leave my LT out in the box to get messed with or stolen. Plus there are quite a few people at work interested in quiting. Now I've used the Blu and Mistic and wasnt really impressed. I've heard good things about the Volt from smokelessimage.com and am leaning towards that. I don't like the price of prefilled cartos but have always had a problem with filling cartos myself. I've used the spin method (pain in the rear) and filling w/ a syringe (works better) but not as good as my carto tank. Any input on smaller batts and maybe some smaller clearos, like the ones from smokelessimage.com or comparable would be great.
Thanks!

Mini eGo battery with a clearomizer eGo Mini Batteries

There's a thread devoted to these here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/311208-anyone-tried-ego-mini.html

Consider a mod the size of a pack of cigarettes; easily fits in a pocket. Uses rechargeable batteries that you replace in the mod when they are drained. The battery used in the Smoktech Variable Voltage Gripper will last all day. This device uses variable voltage to adjust the amount of vapor and can be used to tailor the heat to each individual flavor that you use. Only $50 for the unit and uses $10 batteries.

A non-variable voltage version just called The Gripper is available which is even smaller and cheaper for just $16. Uses a similar, smaller rechargeable battery that will last 7 hours - $6.50.

I recently had reason to use an 808, and I will admit other than battery life the Smokeless Image volt is a great little stick battery giving a great hit and vapor. As to filling you can do the condom method of filling on the volt cartos

The battery life on them is good for a stick battery, just I am use to 18650 so the battery life doesn't seem to last long

What about an old school flashlight mod? Or The Puck? Either would do the job, be cheap if stolen and not really look like an ecig. If you put it in the box without an atty or carto on it, I doubt anybody would give it a second look. I made a Puck, it had 4xAAA NiMH batts in a 4xAA box. Got the parts from RadioShack except for the 510 connector. Got the batts from CVS drugstore, they were cheap, charged fast and did a great job. A 3 ohm dual coil carto does great at 4.8v. There is lots of info on the Puck in the modding section.

I got one mini.. With a smoktech redux. Works pretty good. Not crazy long battery life. but I'm used to my LT running 1+days. I've never had luck with the clearos. they always burn for me. So I rewicked it w/ cotton twin and it works pretty good. A little different taste, but it doesn't have a wicking problem. I think maybe another mini charged as a backup and I'll be set at work.

I just purchased the Smoktech Mini, the first one pictured in Baditude's post... and promptly bought two more. It's 450 mAh and one will last me through a day at work on a single charge. It also has surprisingly good vapor for such a little thing. With a shorty carto, it's the length of a regular cigarette, although a little fatter.
