I got the mod bug

Well, even though I'm not exactly new to ECF (I have been poking around on these forums for quite a while now) this will be my first post. I, like many others on these forums, got interested in e-cigs after seeing a demo at the local mall for the Smoking Everywhere E-cig. And being the "tight wad" that I am I figured I could find this new wonder online for a lot cheaper...and I was right. I got all my info on these forums and ended up with a shiny new rn4081. I loved it so much I bought 3 more rn4081 kits and a couple m401's. But again due to my cheapness I got tired of having to worry about replacement batteries and decided to try my hand at a mod. I had never run a soldering gun before so I decided to start small and try the infamous Nico Stick. After the 3'rd failed attempt and 2 battery connections I decided to bypass trying to use a battery and go for the USB passthrough mod. And it was a success!!!
I was so proud of myself. So today I went down to my local Harbour Freight store and got all the parts I needed to follow along with Madogs great Magnum Powered video tutorial.

I just wanted to thank all you modders out there that post and give us newbies the guidance to make these mods....it's the best feeling in the world! :)

Bristow, Ok.
Here it is...My rn4081 passthrough.....remember that this was originally going to run off of a battery...that is why it is in the larger double battery box and not a single battery box...it's not pretty but it works like a dream..plenty of vapor

Anything that keeps you from smoking is beautiful. Especially if you make it yourself. Nice job.
