But I just can't seem to get any consistency out of my cartomizers. I've tried more than one juice & a couple different cartos w/similar results. The fill/prime goes fine & usually starts out vaping real nice, but after a tank or two it goes FLAT. Like vaping water. No burnt taste, no nothing...well maybe the slightest hint of flavor, but mostly BLECH! And I'm not getting bubbles out the cart holes unless I really suck HARD. Shouldn't I get bubbles w/a normal draw 80% of the time? I'm new at using cartomizers, but am quickly getting frustrated...any ideas?

Sorry you're not having good luck with the tanks so far. Are you taking a couple of pulls without hitting the fire button after you refill your tank & screw it on? Do you chain vape? I don't let my tank get completely empty before I refill it either. I hope someone comes along that is more experienced than me. I've only been using tanks for about 2 weeks. I refer to Baditude's blog for setting them up & have had pretty good luck so far.

What brand of cartomizers are you using? How many holes do they have? Were the holes pre-punched or punched manually?

I try to keep my tank cartomizers wet. I look at the polyfill periodically and if its white I try to block the bottom connection hole with my finger and pull hard dry hits in order to dampen the cartomizer (be careful not to flood the cartomizer - any juice that fills above the polyfill will drain down the center hole).

I can't think of anything else right now.

Yeah, I sorta do chain vape at times (esp when it's vaping real good) & I realize that it's likely a problem of the carto starving for juice. I've tried pre-punched & punching my own, but there are so many variables. I guess I've just not hit the right balance of holes/viscosity/consumption. Yet. I'll also start keeping a better watch on the filler. (PIA) But I have an RBA on the way & I'm sure that'll solve my cartomizer problems. And present some new ones I'm sure...thanks y'all. Back to the drawing board.

Hang in there and keep working with it. Most of us went through a learning experience before we found a method that works for us as individual vapors. No one method works for everyone, that's why there are so many different ways to go about it. Experiment with other's methods until you find something that works for you.
