Got my 510 pcc kit a month or so ago and I still have mixed feelings that I know can be sorted out. There is literally TOO much info on here, and it seems that there isn't really a product that's really been "sorted out".

First, I know I need a bigger battery. I can't help but look at my PCC and think that is just a switch and a 510 battery connector away from being a big battery/passthrough/charging solution. Figure if I get around to it, I just solder to the battery terminals on the circuit board (not the output for charging the 510 batts).

Anyway, I've tried PTB's in many different ways and found that they affect the flavor too much and the carts simply don't hold enough juice to be worth messing with. I got a set of Joye cartos and found they lacked a lot from the box, were great on the first refill, but awful on the second.

I'm currently using 100% VG that I have A LOT of. I've mixed an espresso blend to somewhere between 20 and 24mg (measuring exactly didn't seem all that important) I'm thinking that I may try doing some PG in the future as it seems to wick better in certain circumstances.

ANyway. Right now I'm mainly trying to decide if I want one of the GotVapes special cartos or a CE2 or a G4... Seems like the Saphire is the way to go, but they also seem to have trouble keeping them in stock.

Well, that was long. Guess I'll wrap this up for now. Thanks for a great place to come and learn.

I see you are from Ohio, if you have the time next weekend and the inclination, I would suggest coming to the Dayton Vape meetup. There will quite a few people there, all manner of PVs and juices to try, and plenty of friendly and helpful people. Maybe discussing with them their experiences can help you along with yours. If nothing else, it is a great time with some great people :) Check this thread here:

Hope to see you there! And best of luck :)

My best slim 510 experience

Joye 510 mega xl MANUAL batteries (60% more battery charge, and manual for totally sealed end safe from carto leaks and easier to get a good hit)

Boge standard resistance cartomizers (you cannot use the hotter LR ones on slim batteries)

THIN juices - no more than 20% VG, and clear ones so there is little flavor sediment, for excellent carto life/performance since these juices will take much longer to clog a carto

I can get 1-2 good weeks or more use out of a Boge carto
Atty + carts sucks compared to cartos

The next step up is usually a fat battery 510, Ego or its popular clone Riva 510 (and Liberty-Flights.com is a greta place to shop - press the 20% off upper left front page first0. My Riva 510 Lite bundle (2 complete 750mah Rivas) cost under $30. These provide much longer battery charge and have the option ot use hotter LR attys and cartos (though LR parts will use charge up faster)

Welcome, and don't let the info overload get to you. You'll start narrowing down what you're looking for pretty quick. As far as the sapphires go, gotvapes only received their initial shipment which sold out the same night. I've read they're expecting their next shipment of quite a few more early next week; so you won't have long to wait.

The best I've found is the echo 1300 auto with a 3 ml carto. The battery will last 18 hrs and the carto 12 hrs until it needs refilled. I also just got the 650 auto today and it is a little smaller and easier to hold in your mouth for hands free vaping. You can buy a kit with one of each for 45.00 from D&B Gold here on the forum. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ld-has-echo-e-cartomizers-14.html#post3581558:2cool:

Thanks all. I've been spork obsessed for many years.

Now I'm looking at maybe just getting a go-go as it would seem to solve most of my problems. Ugh... Or maybe a "ego passthrough" with an 808 adapter plus the Volt cartos. Just so many options. I guess what's really important is a good carto and go from there with the battery.

Those cartos... Do you clean them frequently, or do they just work?

Welcome to ECF and vaping. It seems you have already done a bit of research and are well on your way. One thing for sure is you will find as many opinions as there are options. Listen to the ones that detail your needs and with a little trial and error you will find the right setup for you.

The Go-go is a good choice too and has a great 3 ml carto. Go-goUSA has the best prices on the Go-go and accessories. Home | Go-goUSA.com 50.00 for a kit and five cartos.

This is too funny. I'm lurking in the Newbies Section to see if I can help anybody with anything and find out in here that I can get replacement batteries for my Go Go at half the price of what I've been paying for them!

BTW, a Buzz and Go Go are my main vape machines.

OK... Bit the bullet and ordered some ce2's. Do they work very well with VG? Hope I at least made a decent choice. I got the metal ones. Is there a benefit to the syringe mod besides cracking tubes? I think I'll have to try cleaning them when I get them.

I don't have the funds for a new battery and all right now, but I did get the stuff I need to mod my PCC if I want to ($2.00).

welcome Jake71 and Iuseaspork (haha I love that name too)... I haven't tried any ce2 v4 clearo's (or metal lol) yet, and will probably try them out when someone has em in stock...also tempted to try out gotvapes' vortex clearo's (atty at bottom instead of the top like most clearo's) when they have more, also... atm using the madvapes 510 clear dual coil carto's I just recieved, and liking them so far using my roughstack v2...no leaks, cracking or warping found yet...

Yep He is a good supplier too. He is coming up with lots of new stuff for the Go-go. Check out his thread in the suppliers forum.

    in a cave, eh?
    Hey, hi Mr. Spork.

I hear good things about the Go Go. Good luck with that. The downside with the Go Go is the battery connection only works with Go Go cartomizers. If you'd like to try anything else (CE2s, Boge LR cartos, etc.), you'll need an adapter. CigEasy has one, but they're a little pricey.

Also, you may find the Go Go mouthpiece a little uncomfortable. You might have to improvise a little there.
