I haven't had any problems with any of my ecig orders in 2 years of vaping..... usually the reason it doesn't make it by the estimated

delivery date is because the vendor puts in the electronic notice but the package doesn't actually enter the system until 2 days

later.... not USPS's fault..... from the sounds of it some parts of the country have more problems than others.....

I would just like to know that my package actually left the US. I'm pretty confident of receiving it once it arrives in this country (with such a small population, we don't really need long numbers to find each other). I'm just worried that as it travels from State to State in the US somebody in USPS won't find the invented postal code acceptable.

I'm no psychologist, but am old enough to know that bitterness can be self-destructive. It certainly won't do you any good and has no effect on the person who caused it. Time for you to look at your own best qualities, see what made you worth a well paid job, and get out and look for another. Hard enough, I know, but you have already said that you have a good appearance, your posts here indicate that you are literate, and I'm sure you have lots of other things going for you. Why let one period in your life prevent you from making the most of your future? There's a good job out there somewhere with your name on it. Go and find it.

M&S Sorry you're getting so upset. I didn't mean to offend, as I said, I'd be fine with the wait if I wasn't told I wasn't going to be waiting that long.

The latest update is funny, It's made it from Washington to NJ early this morning, and the delivery date has been updated and now says tomorrow, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up until Tuesday.

Not only will your package have a country code on it, it also says the country. I think you said Ireland, that is the last thing on the address it will say Ireland so don't worry. :)

I know, I need to take hold back of my self esteem and future, it's been TOUGH!! I was a Part time photographer while there and thought hey go ful time right? Yeah that didn't happen like I thought it would! UGH!! Time to just say enough is enough and move on.

No worries, I am not offended, just wanted to educate so maybe to soften the blow of having to wait. You will most likely get it tomorrow.

All of my stuff has arrived ok except at the moment there is one order that is well overdue. I am going to stop ordering from that vendor for a while - and it isn't the vendors fault. Its just that other vendors I use have the orders go a different route through USPS and those reach me in the expected time. But this vendor shipped my order out promptly and then it got stuck. Even now the USPS tracking is confusing. It says it was processed, departed and then was processed again at the same mail facility.
I think the hurricane held it up. I am wondering if I'll see it. Fortunately its only $25 worth of bits and pieces.

Hi guys, as an ex disgruntled postal worker I am happy to clarify some things for you. #1 tracking is relatively new to the Post Office, as in the last 18 months or less new. Yes there has been delivery confirmation but unknown fact... Delivery confirmation is JUST that, it's scanned at time of delivery, that is all.
#2 If a package is shipped without insurance if it is lost or damaged it is NOT COVERED. That is the beauty of cheaper shipping. It does happen but not as often as some think. You as the consumer must decide if the value of the package outweighs the cost of insurance which is pretty minimal considering.
#3 the USPS has the most inexpensive postage in the world. It cost 45 CENTS to send a 1 ounce or under letter thousands of miles!! If you don't believe me check any other country's postage rates!! I believe the only 1 even close is Australia.
#4 with the economy as it is postal workers are now required to do twice the work for 1/4 the respect, 1/2 the time, for less pay. I worked for the USPS for 8 years, the hubs has been with them since 96. With the new contract last year we EACH lost 10 hours a week AND $1 an hour. Together we lost about $2000 a month!! While the cost of living sky rocketed our pay did not... See above. Supervisors started threatening and giving the worst jobs to the hardest workers. There were times I worked until 6:30-7 at night and had to be back at work at 1-3am. That wasn't even Christmas time either. They are over worked, exausted, and under appreciated. Some days are 10-12 hour days. If they get sick or hurt they are WROTE up and treated by management terribly!! When my husband was a carrier he was threatened when a customer didn't get a check in the mail as if he has any control over that. Clerks are threatened and treated badly because if decisions management makes. Yes some clerks are crabby sometimes but you have no idea the hours they put in or the work they've done before they even open that window. Or that they haven't had a break in 6 hours. Or that a supervisor harasses them constantly trying to break their spirit. That's why I resigned last year, I couldn't take any more of a supervisor constantly harassing me only because I was a thin reasonably nice looking female and people liked me. She seriously wrote me up when I called in because my daughter had a seizure at school. Denied pre approved leave. Screamed at me because she didn't like my jeans. Yes I do regret that I allowed her the power over me to the point of resigning from a $25 an hour job but she broke me and I don't break easy. ( oooops sorry for my ramble). Just an FYI I am not the only 1 who has resigned in the last few years because of this very thing.
Last but not least... It's Christmas time, please have patience, they are doing the best that they can with what they have.

I know what you are talking about...I didn't work for USPS but I worked for another government agency (I know USPS is technically autonomous, but at its heart functions like a government agency). M&S is right on the money. Being a Civil Servant can be a thankless gig. I always am nice to my USPS guy because he brings me things I like (and some I don't but it isn't his fault, lol). Since 2006, with all the stuff that I have ordered, only two packages have ever gotten lost in the wild.
We have the best postal system in the world. I know because I have ordered stuff from all over the globe and USPS has the best logistics bar none.

And we won't even go into the office politics (I've encountered the kind of stuff she did on the job too)
We are talking combat politics....real backstabbing, low-down, insidious type stuff.
So yes, be patient, USPS folk are working under the gun at all levels.
I don't know how much they move now, but many years ago it was as high as 500 million pieces of mail per day.
I was impressed then and still am.

I have noticed that late november early december that the USPS website will update a few days late and usually I will receive a package a few days to a week after the "estimated delivery date" and the website will say it is in a processing facility in X location. It's that time of the year and china really loves to use the USPS to get small shipments out so they get hammered HARD by them. Just give it a little longer and continue to stalk the mailman. I, myself, have turned in into a game of seeing if I can cause him to jump almost out of the vehicle by appearing out of nowhere.

Well, my package arrived. It only took 6 days from California to Dublin. That's fast considering it involved customs clearance and probably 2 flights. I had been waiting for another package from England (1 hour's flight away) ordered around the same time. Both packages arrived today.

M&S: Think positive. Even if you can find a job that isn't as well paid as the last one, you could use it as a stepping stone to something better. I'm told it's easier to find a job if you're in a job. Good luck to you whatever you decide to do, and have a Happy Christmas.

I doubled my November orders to avoid the Xmas madness. Try that next year. It will be there soon. There is nothing quite so taxing as waiting on an order. Ugh.

Also, I try to have an extra 30 supply of my top three juices (and my girls favorite two) in my fire safe that I just rotate out. This allows a bit of flexibility for steeping purposes as well. Juice is not to be ordered as needed, it is to be greedily stockpiled ruthlessly. Not that I am discussing it, I think a 60 day supply will be my resolution for 2013.....

Glad you got it! I ordered mine over a month ago and wonder where on earth it is right now....
