You know what I REALLY HATE about Ecigs ???
The nightmarish fears I have been experiencing about them being banned and succumbing to smoking tobacco cigarettes again ...
let's all get on the ban-wagon to stop the ban !!!

I left the following statement and signed the petition, as well as sending this statement to everyone suggested at the "10" site...
I am a loyal customer of the electronic cigarette smoking alternative, and I have been informed that the FDA has taken the step to bar importation of these products. I want you, as my elected representatives to help me continue to enjoy this product by demanding that the FDA will not in any way limit my access to or ban electronic cigarettes.
I began using my electronic cigarette in January 2009, and threw my cigarettes away! Electronic cigarettes do NOT claim to be a smoking cessation product, but I have been purchasing the NO NICOTINE cartridges for 9 months and I am still very much enjoying my NO NICOTINE electronic cigarette.
There is no 'secondhand smoke or tar' and perhaps, like me, it will not be long until others who use ecigs will also be OFF OF NICOTINE, as well as the other many HARMFUL chemicals contained in tobacco cigarettes -- while still enjoying the action of 'vaping' on an electronic cigarette.
I was a desperate closet smoker - carrying gum/hand wipes/light cologne everywhere so that I could sneak out and smoke. 'Vaping' has changed my life - so much - for the better! It is so hard to quit smoking cigarettes, but I have. Don't take my ecig away !!!

LOL -The Mosh- I'm down 43 pounds. I had quit esmoking and any kind of smoking/vaping altogether by accident. But my boss's mother would come to my house and flick her cigarettes in my yard (and even when I smoked, I never littered my OWN yard with my butts...) and I had just picked up running and used an inhaler from time to time and it never failed that she would stop by just after I had used my inhaler because I just got done with a crazy run and she would blow that smoke cloud in my face and I would be coughing for an hour or more because my newly opened lungs were ......... So, I got my ecig out and charged it to show it to her to try and convince her to switch so I wouldn't have to smell her nastiness in my house... And then I realized that maybe if I had something to do with my hands and mouth I wouldn't shove food in my pie hole all the time...so now, when I feel like eating when I'm not hungry, I just vape...and I exercise (and I can now because I can breathe perfectly with NO inhaler)...and I'm living a better life. I'm not saying that the ecig should be used for weight loss...I'm just saying that I really like being able to taste chocolate and other goodies without increasing my calorie intake! ROFL! So, awesome, I'm glad you "hate" your ecig so much! ;-/
I really miss singing out loud then right in the middle, having a horrible hack attack. And the burning ash in the eye... my personal fave. who could forget burning mustache, beard, hair etc. God I miss that smell... ooh ooh ooh and dont forget the good times we had ruining everyone else's good times whenever we needed a fix.

Oh girl! (HUG) I'm glad u posted this...I had gastric bypass surgery about 7 years ago.. I've lost 150 lbs so far, but not as much as I need to... because of the surgery... I can't eat sugar any more without feeling like I'm going to absolutely die... it makes me so sick... but that's one of the reasons you lose weight.. and I knew before I had the surgery...so I'm not complaining at all...So in keeping with the spirit of this thread, I tell you this because,
IT IS SO "TERRIBLE" to vape cotton candy, blueberry cheesecake, atomic fireball, english toffee...omg..the list goes on and on...WITH NO CALORIES AND NO SUGAR..AND NO WEIGHT GAIN....and even (gasp) POSSIBLE WEIGHT LOSS !!! I "HATE" MY E-CIG!!!
The three best decisions I've ever made in my life
#1 To Marry my husband (OF COURSE lol)
#2 To have weight loss surgery (I was taking 33 pills a day and 2 insulin shots just to stay alive, at the age of 25, now I'm on nothing!)
#3 Buying my EGO!!
I just have to reply to this since my wife, who is on a strict no sugar/low carb diet, quickly jumped on the e-cig bandwagon when I told her she can vape cheesecake.
lol, quitting smoking hasn't made me lose weight...vaping itself never made me lose weight...I quit vaping and then went to show somebody else one so I didn't have to smell their stinky .... any more...and then realized since it was charged I should just go ahead and vape that new atty...and then realized that I wasn't eating as much and that I could quelch my hunger (so to speak) for sweet things by vaping. I am not saying it's good to inhale vapor to lose weight, I'm just saying we all have our vices that inadvertantly keep us from eating as much, and this is mine.
I hate my e-cigarette...I miss being fat and stinky...maybe I should just throw it away and chow down on some real food...j/k j/k. Also, I exercise and include a good low calorie diet. And it's a bit easier to not indulge in fatty foods when you are allergic, I'm making caramel french toast for dinner tonight, it's "marinating" now and looks so good...but I"m allergic to eggs...and if I partake I will become very ill. Sad, but whatever works! LOL. I'll be having a soymilk smoothie (allergic to milk as well).

that is a problem that I had to curb, I had to lose weight for a new job. I didn't realize I had gained so much weight but damn if everything didn't taste like it was the best in the world.
Great post! I haven't been on the forum in awhile and it's great to see the spirit still going strong! Yup yup yup...I hate E-cigs too....sooooo much so that I have all this money laying around and have to take a Disney vacation with it....really hate when that happens!
HAHAHA.....I really miss driving helplessly down the highway as the back seat of my car catches fire from the cig I thought I threw out the car window....
Going to HEB for the weekly groceries, select the specific checkout lane that has the cigs in the over the counter compartment bin, to find out they don't have your brand even though it is a common brand, give the cashier a long title of your brand, watch cashier linger in the tabacco section of the store, feeling the hateful stares, hearing the sighs from behind you in line, watch cashier coming back with the wrong cigs, show cashier what brand but in another flavor, actually hear snide remarks about smokers as cashier lingers longer in tobacco section, to successfuly colect correct brand but wrong quantity....what the hell...just give me what you have and let me get out of here.

Decide I'll just check out my groceries, park cart and go through the tobacco section and write another check....just to have non-smokers with their 10 items or less stand behind you in THAT very line and give you dirty looks.

Haven't gotten mine yet, but I know that these are going to be on my list:
I'm totally going to miss that one time that I threw a .... out the window while I was driving down the road and then all of a sudden smell burning just to pull over and search the back of the car and realize that it was on the driver seat right next to my hair. That was awesome.
I'm going to miss going to the doctor's office and lieing to the nurse and doctor about my smoking just so that I don't have to hear the whole "You should quit...you know how bad that is for you....you have kids" talk. Or actually telling them that I smoke and then listen to them try to convince me that I could quit it's not that hard.
Totally gonna miss that jerk that got in my face about smoking when I was pregnant (I was 5 weeks along, and had just found out, I can't quit the second that pee stick gives me a + sign).
Going to miss that cigarette smell on my fingers (haven't noticed it on my clothes, but hey I can't smeel right anyway right?)
Going to miss standing 20 feet away from everyone at the busstop in the morning when I get rid off (I mean send my kids to school) my kids for the day because I'm smoking a cigarette and none of the other parents there do.
Going to think it's Effing Hilarious when my husband has to go outside in the freezing cold weather to smoke, or when he runs out of cigarettes and doesn't grab any on the way home then expects me to drive 20 minutes to the base to go get him some (Italian shops don't sell Newports, at least not that I've noticed), he can get it himself or buy his own e-cigs.
I'm going to miss lighting up my cigarettes every 10 minutes when I'm outside chatting with my neighbor in the middle of the night.
Losing my lighters, shaking them to make them work, tobacco crap all over my phone (I keep my cigs in my jacket pocket at all times), smoking butts cuz I'm out of smokes, bumming smokes from a neighbor who smokes Pall Mall's and I Newports.
Going to miss having to wait 5 extra minutes before leaving anywhere just because I have to smoke a cigarette before driving long distances (20 minutes in my case lol).
OH, and totally going to miss having to find a smoking zone on base because you aren't allowed to smoke anywhere else. And they don't put them up everywhere I usually do it next to my car and I've still gotten .....ed at, at least I don't smoke in the car with the fricken baby.
OH AND last year for 3 months they didn't have my brand of cigarettes anywhere in Italy (they say shipping delays, my neighbors and I say the trucks were fricken hijacked), matter of fact the only cigarettes that the base was selling was Pall Malls and some other stuff, they ran out of everything. Then they got a puny shipment in after 3 months, and then they were out again for 2 months. When that next shipment came in I totally bought 3 cartons just for me. Totally going to miss smoking crap when the base is out of everything (They are going through something similar right now except with effing LIGHTBULBS, been 3 months since they've had any).

Thanks for reminding me how much I miss analogs. Miss all that fire ......ant, plus the $6.50 a pack.
AAAH Italy, love that country, when I was there all I saw was Marlboro, don't even know how to spell it, don't even think of trying to buy Capri Ultra lights. Those were the days.
I miss my Kleenexes. Huge wads of them in my purse and all my pockets, and boxes of them in every room in the house. And the coffee can I carried everywhere to dispose of the 10 or so I used every hour. I miss washing Kleenex with every load of laundry (there was always one hiding in a pocket that I missed). I really miss all the allergic coughing, wheezing, clogged up nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, etc. from the fire-......ant paper. (Would somebody please tell me what kind of genius decided to put fire ......ant in something that's supposed to be LIT in order to be SMOKED? )

I'm gonna miss washing all the yellow film off the 65 teardrop crystals on my chandelier, and having to replace the lampshades every 6 months.
