Mosh--I think what I absolutely despise about these damn e-cigs is knowing now how bad I used to smell without a clue.

Without ANY clue!! How could I have been that unaware? Jeez, I used to carry breath spray around with me and figured.. 'There. Now I don't smell like cigs anymore.' Sure miss that little leaky btl of breath spray.

If you don't like them now, wait till you discover that you no longer smell like cigarettes. You'll probably lose it.

I realize now there is literally an invisible cloud of stale smoke smell that wafts behind smokers as they walk by. I sure miss those ppl backing away from me to get away from that lovely odor.

I can't believe you didn't mention hating not smelling like the next best thing above dog crap in our society, and how people love that fact and think how cool you are for not walking around in a stink cloud.

The worst part is people like hanging around me even more, especially the hot looking women. I really miss feeling like an outcast, and miss my other loser friends I could bond with outside while we burned or firesticks together, and the other people would stay as far away as they could. Geez I miss those days!

Yea even my own girlfriend complains about my cigarette smell:(

You know what?

I think i hate them too!

I hate being able to go into a restaurant now and smoke! WTF!?
I HATE Not smelling of ash!
I hate not offending people by smoking in their home or car!
But what i really hate about electric cigarettes is that i don't get to go outside in seven degree weather in the snow and ice and smoke till my lungs burn from the cold air and thick smoke that i inhale.

DAMN YOU E Cigarettes! DAMN YOU!

I hate these e-cigs because I can no longer take a nap mid afternoon. I quite often, especially this time of year, get bored at home, so I'll normally lean back in the recliner and take about a 20 minute nap. I'm just not tired enough anymore. When I smoked, I seemed to never get enough sleep. Now, I always feel rested up. Dang.

My ecig is waiting for me in the mail today....

But I've already been thinking about what I will "miss" about analogs:

Will miss my fingers smelling like an ashtray
Will miss lighting the wrong end and thinking I'm going to die from toxicity
Will miss having everything in my purse coated in tobacco
Will miss my boyfriend's snide "God you reek!" comments when I come inside
Will miss my boyfriend asking 10,000 times a car ride why I have the window rolled down
Will miss chasing down my cigarette butts in the backyard when the wind blows my can of butts over
Will miss freezing my bootie off while everyone else laughs at me through the window
Will miss shaking lighters to get that last little bit out
Will miss having my dogs roll around in my ash on the porch and then lay down on my white carpet
Will miss the excruciating pain when an ash flies right into your eye
Will miss the pounds of ash constantly floating around in my car
Will miss the extremely dirty looks from the anti-smokers when you smoke, at the very back of the parking lot, away from all existence, in 50mph wind
Will miss every person I know telling me that some person died "because they smoked 300 packs a day for 30 years"
Will miss the wonderful holes burnt into my car upholstery

I'm sure there's many other things I'll miss, but these were the first things that came to mind...

I hate E-cigs, if I were still paying outrageous prices for cigarettes I wouldn't have finally been able to put my Mercedes in the shop. It'd still be sitting there (since Oct).

:pwoohoo just got the call from the auto shop, $650 to fix it. Damn e-cigs letting me fix my car, for shame!

added aggrevation: as someone mentioned earlier no burns in upholstery, I've had a fear of this in the benz as the entire interior is leather and veeeerrrryyyy expensive to re-upholster.

I miss the frantic search for a place to .... out, when smoking in a no smoking zone. And the smell of burnt cigarettes in my pockets. wonering if the cigarette has some embers left.

Yeah, wasn't that the best? Or smoking half a cigarette, putting it out then saving the other half in the pack, thus contaminating the rest of the cigarettes? Good times.

I've got a flight Friday morning with a half an hour layover. I hate the fact the I can't hike it through the airport to make it outside only to "OJ Simpson Hertz Commercial" it back to the gate just as they call final boarding...all the while puffing and huffing out of breath and sweaty smelling like smoke.

Darn you PV!!

and nothing can replace the panic attacks on long flights. :p

Interesting enough, going without during even a 6 hour flight never bothered me. The aniticipation of going without was worse. For me, it was kind of mind over matter. I knew I couldn't have one and my mind accepted it. However, once I disembarked, I couldn't hardly wait to get out of the terminal and light up. Wow, did that cig taste awesome. :p

Same with me, even being a 2 pack a day smoker. When I flew to Ireland for the first time in '99, I brought along some Nicorette, just in case. Never needed it. But, that first cig after landing was fabulous.

...and remember the time you burned a hole in the seat of your shiny new sports car? Almost crashing trying to get the hot ash from between your legs while going 80 mph down the freeway?
It was the winds fault lol. Also not having to drive in the rain with your window down to smoke a cig. i bought the pure smokes like you had and I seem dissapointed. ugh. but it beats smoking them newports.
