Ok I hate when I get likes most the time I am on my phone and likes r a pita.

Dont pay attention to who does it most the time.
But there is someone that does it all the time lol.
I am sure there r other people that feel this way.
You can't tell if it's a pm or a like till u look.
And on a phone it's more work then it's worth.

I guess the like button wastes less computer resources on the host than one of these. Multiply times the number of users and it adds up.
It's not the like button, that causes the problems, it's getting a notification for every like that you get. It used to be that you could turn the notifications off, but it doesn't seem to work anymore, as I have turned them off, but I still get the notifications.
I started to click the like button, but regressed! I get that it's a pain to check your likes, only to have 4 more 10 minutes later. It's kind of like being a rock star ... enjoy it!
I guess I wouldn't like it also if I were receiving these notifications, but I'm not. Maybe I'll be a little less generous with my likes...
Disabling Like notifications was custom coded by a previous member of our dev team. Changes in Vbulletin caused it to break when we upgraded. It is on the todo list for our code monkeys but I have no estimate of when they will be able to get to it and recode it.
But isn't there an option to disable likes completely. I thought I saw some members without like buttons.
