It costs me way too much money! After getting my Provari when they came out in Dec 2010 I stayed away from this place, and noticed that I spent very, very little money vaping. I finally decided to come back, and after trolling around for just a few days I've already purchased a Lava Tube and a Buzz Pro.

I know the Lava Tube won't hang with my Provari so it was for my mom, and the Buzz Pro was a hard choice between it and a black satin Provari, but I ended up deciding since I already have a Provari I'd mix it up a little.

It's a simple fact, out of all the forums I have frequented over the years, this one is by far the most expensive.

*Edited to say* The title is misleading. I don't really hate the forum.

I think it works the other way around. I first switched to PVs back in September. For those first couple of months, I was spending hundreds of dollars a month on PV gear and I was very active on the forum, researching and talking about my new purchases.

In December, I had a battery setup I liked and I started making my own juice. I realized that I could do this vaping thing for very, very little money. Since then, I spend about $15-20 a month. My buying is down to DIY stuff and new cartos every couple of months. So, I'm almost never on the forum any more as I don't really have anything to say.

So, do you buy more stuff because you are on the forum, or are you on the forum because you are buying more stuff? Who can say? But I think a lot of people who disappear from the forums do what I did -- find a setup and buying pattern that works, and just get on with it.

and I started making my own juice.

LMAO! I'm now duplicating my early PV/flavors buying sprees with DIY flavs. Hey, wait... that's not funny.

Nonetheless, I luv these forums!

I agree with Travis and Head like orange -- I have found a lot of cool stuff on these forums that i had to order and that led me to find a set up and juice and stuff that i am happy with -- BUT there are always cool new things coming out that i would never know about if it wasnt for this forum and that i want really really bad lol

Sounds right to me...you bought a top of the line PV so you were all set...got a little bored, came to visit..."Hey whats this a lava lube and buzz pro"...ok ill try it!!!...If you bought crap you would be here every day for god knows how long buying, and buying untill you found what was right for you!!!..

Buying one of the most well regarded devices right away sort of takes the fun out of it, but does save a lot of money. Surprisingly, the Lavatube does alright when stacked up against a ProVari.

Of course that was until the ProVari v2 came out, if you use dual coils that gives the ProVari the edge (of course it wins in finish and workmanship hands-down already)

Lol the Provari V2 is probably still on my list. I've owned a few mods before the Provari and I was sure that the Provari wouldn't be the last. Honestly I'm surprised that I've been as happy as I am with it for so long.

I'm still planning on the Provari being my main go-to. The 2.5 amp limit was the only drawback to it that I have found in the year plus that I've owned it, and now that is fixed. Plus I find the Satin black to just be sexy.

The Buzz Pro is just something new, and will make a nice backup to my ProVari and add a little additional variety to my arsenal.

Obviously you don't own a Harley, and if you do have not spent anytime at HDForums or VTwin Forums ;)

I like how for once, my money is goin towards something that I can keep...When I smoked, all my money went towards, analogs, and food...so I would be spending all this money, and it felt like I never had anything to show for it...Now I spend money, and for the first time, i have something physical that I actually get to hold on too...It's a nice change:)

I have to agree with Travis798!

Even my non smoking/vaping hubby has realized the pattern lol! Once again I managed to avoid the forum for a couple of months, and surprise, surprise no vaping stuff bought! A few days ago, I start wandering around here then avidly reading 150 page threads from start to finish with my iPad in the dark..... and......

Yes, It's true. I have ordered a new mod  The VMod XL - to be exact. But hey, I NEEEEEDDDD a bottom feeder! Don't have one, and don't you know honey that the Reo mods at 2-4 times the price. This is a BARGAIN! Sigh.

I have promised myself that I will not buy a new mod until at least 3 months have passed. Pointless saying that this is the last one, as we all know that to be a big fat lie :p.

P.S. Hey Dotma my dear!!! How are you and how is your LavaTube treating you these days?

Now see, I think this forum has saved me a lot of money. I found ECF when I was looking at PV's in the mall and at the gas station. If I had not found ECF I would probably still be using the overpriced undervalued gear available locally. I googled ecigs and started trying to research the ecigs at the mall.

All I can say is "Ignore these people and thanks a whole whole whole lot for saving me from making a big mistake"... If not for ECF I might have gone back to smoking...

Lol Nope no Harley. With me being me, I probably wouldn't be alive to post on these forums if I owned one!

How do you like Buzz Pro? I was interested in Buzz/Infinity at one time.

I just ordered it last night, so it hasn't even shipped yet, so I don't know yet how I like it.

They're doing the blue LED run in March....so Black satin with Blue LED....

Thats part of the reason for doing the Buzz Pro now. I figured if I was going to order another Provari, I'd do it satin black with blue LED this time, and I'm wanting to try out something in the meantime that will run Dual coil carto's well.

Geez, stay away from the high performance car forums.

Lol, I've spent a lot of time on Diesel performance forums since all my vehicles are diesel trucks. I guess technically they have costs me tens of thousands more than this forum, but I've also learned to stay away from those forums unless I am having a problem I need to research. I'm such a pushover. I see *the next best thing* and just HAVE to have it!

Self control my friend... self control :vapor:

I wish I had some :(

Sadly I am lacking in that department. I suppose that is why I always seem to be broke. I have too many expensive habits with ecigs, trucks and the casino. Women used to be my money sucker, but I had to give up on them for things I can get more long term enjoyment out of!
