i don't mind usps that much, the thing i hate is when a company takes 4 days to process your order before shipping it... sure the usps site will say they have the shipping information, but that just means the supplier printed the label, doesn't necessarily mean that they dropped the package off at the post office. then 4 days it finally updates to "package at post office" 500 miles away

I have never really had any issue with USPS. I to look for updates and want them as quick as possible but in the other hand i am a patient person. Longest i have had to wait on an order was 6 days and that was from china.... so i can't complain. Most all companies i have ordered from in the US have all been between 3 to 4 days to my door. Now if i placed an order and it took like 2 weeks from somewhere in the USA then yea i was get aggravated

At least you're not in the same situation as my wife. She ordered some goods from an online Asian Food grocer and they shipped with FedEx, gave her the tracking number and all that jazz. That was on Friday, and the only thing they've updated in the tracking is that it left San Francisco, made it to Sacramento, and departed from there. All this occured on Saturday. No further updates in the tracking system have occurred.

I seem to have had pretty good success with anything that has been shipped to me using USPS priority mail. So far, most the suppliers I've dealt with use this shipping method. I've received those shipments in 2 days typically, occasionally 3 days, regardless of what part of the country they have come from.
My only complaint would be that online tracking of a package doesn't seem to be very reliable. It seems to actually trail behind the actual shipment in many cases, sometimes with tracking information not even showing up until the day I actually receive the package.

The USPS tracking system is a joke, rarely does it seem to keep up with the package, yet the package is still moving and usually arrives pretty timely, no complaints. My mailman knows when I'm expecting a package because I'm wating for them out by the mailbox, I order a lot of stuff online so I know my mailman well, and I tip them at Christmas for the extra work they do for me, I think that helps a bit.

USPS tracking is an urban myth. There is no such thing, LOL. The only update you get will be after it has been delivered. Then it says status: delivered.

It doesn't say where it was delivered. Could be your neighbors mail box. Out here where I live, the post person is like the mailman on Funny Farm.

Many times I have received my neighbors mail and vice versa. Well who knows. Only if the neighbor is kind enough to bring your electric bill over a week after it was due. Sheesh.
