I have a battery question for the tech smart folks in the group

The batteries I use the most are XL batteries. Most of the time, I can go a whole day and not kill the battery. At the end of the day, I put the battery on the charger and charge it back up. I'm wondering if charging my batteries this way decreases the overall life span of my batteries. Is it better to completely drain the battery before putting it on the charger? They say that we get 200 or so charges on a battery. Does that count if I've only used half of the battery capacity when I put it on the charger?

I'm sure someone out there knows and it may not change the way that I charge, I'm just curious about this.

MachoKing sir you actually are prolonging their life. The batts don't take well to deep cycling, so by you charging them before they've flashed prevents just that.
