Here's another thing to consider. If you want an automatic battery because you need to keep your hands free, then you'll be expecting to have your e-cig dangling from your mouth like a stinky. Probably ain't going to happen, unless you have a very small, light, tiny mini-ecig. If that's the case, I can virtually guarantee you that the performance of it will suck out loud and you'll hate it within a matter of days or weeks. Even an e-cig like the shortest Volt or G6 is considerably heavier than an analog. Unless your jaw muscles are overdeveloped for some reason, it just isn't something you'll want to have hanging out of your mouth for any length of time.

Like you, I started out hating the button designs. Then I had one given to me in a trade, and found out that i could take better draws off of them. I hated the look of the big batts, then realized i was forever charging those little things. Now I am running a g-tank-us on a provari. Wow that hits the spot. The customization of this setup is perfect. I leave the morning with my tank filled and fresh battery and I am good all day long. After all you are really after the ease of use. Right?

If you are worried about the looks from people at bangor or bremerton relax. They will be fine. Don't worry.

Being on a ship means that you are around loud noises, rumblings, and things that will make an automatic battery turn itself on. The contacts in an auto battery are fragile ones attached to a diaphragm that respond to the vacuum of a breath to actuate. Anything that causes sound pressure waves at some amplitude can actuate those contacts, maybe in your pocket, and kill the battery or the atomizer over time. I've read stories about people at rock concerts suddenly feeling a hot sensation in their pocket and having to remove the auto battery when not vaping and putting it back in to vape.

Manual batteries have a 5 click on-off function that is like a safety. You definitely want that if you carry it in your pocket. I don't know if the auto batts have that function.

My wife still chooses analogues and prefers I use them too. It if frowned upon when i use ecigs but analogues are ok. I have educated her on all theirs pluses. It is quite strange that she has not restrained herself to comment on me using a lavatube or a big tube mod, that i have some sort of weird non straight fetish. People looking weird was ok, but that...really hurt.

I think I'll get the ego starter kit. I found this: AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Joye eGo Starter Kit
I'll get the black starter kit, the carrying case and two drip tips. I doubt I will want more than 5 atomizers for right now.
Now here is my question. Can I take normal bottles of juice and put it in this ecig?
Also, is that a good price for this ecig?

That kit is a bit outdated in my opinion. It uses atomizers and cartridges. I do not like cartridges personally and I think Im in the majority. The atomizers will work with dripping ok though. If you want less hassle then I would find a similar kit that includes 5 cartomizers instead. They are essentially the atomizer and cartridge combined into 1 unit. Lots of youtube videos on how to fill cartomizers and once you got it filled you are good to go for a while.
