hi guys, have a little question i need to ask,,, i was wondering if its ok to make a 45mm cartomizer a 35mm cartomizer? making it fit on my mini tanks, because a 45mm cartomizer just looks ridicolous on a mini tank,, my tanks are from momandpopvaporshop.com the mini sub tank,,, i have a bunch of 45mm cartomizers, and just wondering if it can be done,, if i cut it to make 35mm,, when you put the drip tip in itll be closer/touching the foam inside the cartomizer. is that ok to use it???

thanks guys for reading this,

Do not cut them. Sorry, Asdaq, but that will ruin them. If you cut 10mm off a carto, not only will you have to cut off the extra stuffing inside, but you will end up cutting wires that usually go all the way to the top of the filler material.

One thing I can suggest is putting the little rubber plug back into it and using it without the drip tip. It'll still be ridiculous, but I think less so than with the driptip :)

you can cut it, if it is a h-coil carto (no wires in the way)

but,
-you leave a jagged/sharp edge on the carto, which just chews the crap out of your o-rign on your drip tip.
-you run the rish of leaving little metal shavings in your filler that may or may not make its way into your lungs.
-it can be really tedious cutting down that filler without removing it. even more so getting it back in if you do...
- just packing in the filler doesn't really help it do its job...

With all the time that you would be spending cutting down the cartos just to make them fit your short tanks half-assed... you could have just bought another $2 carto

what's your time worth to you?
wasting time to save pennies is counter productive.
