Hey - here it is

We should have a survey for ppl to fill out. We have enough ppl here to answer alot of the questions that we all toss around and debate.

Sorry if this idea has been brought up b4 but i searched and cant find anything.

First we would have to have someoene to compile results.

Then do a survey, with questions like

whats your brand of e-cig

whats your juice brand

do you clean the atty and if so, how

when you shove the e-cig in your pocket , is it mouthpiece up or down

do you do any mods, and which ones

etc, etc

then

how long do your attys last

batteries too

then our appointed compiler can put the results in a spreadsheet and we might have a good idea of what best practice is.

What do you guys think?

You volunteering to compile? I'm not sure what the "correct" answer is...as the data would become outdated pretty quickly.

The basic concept is good, but there are so many variables it would take a lot of time and a pretty big spreadsheet.

Right on. I agree completely. Excel is a very easy program, and as long as someone types fairly quickly with cascaded windows or dual monitors, I'd have to say it wouldn't take too long once it's complete.

Say...15 variables, with 200 people. 3,000 cells with information. 3,015 I suppose with headers, but beside the point. I'd say the average person could do that in and hour in half of constant work, once they have all the information laid out for them.

What would be nice if someone could build an online input box-type form to take the information and compile it automatically. That way you just have to direct people to the form and they fill it out, submit and viola! all the information is compiled in the correct fields of a spreadsheet. And the possibilities of giving the people to change their information as it is an ever changing world with a field of "Last Update" or the like.
