I have created new converts

I converted both of my brothers (dippers) and a friend at work who smokes to vaping. I am feeling good about myself right now. I have potentially saved three lives today. I feel fairly acomplished. Now, if I could just get them to come to VaperCon with me.

Nice, I constantly have ppl stop and ask me what I'm doing. I have no problem engaging in a few minutes of convo about my ecig and how much better i feel after quitting analogs. You might say that we are hero's saving ppl from cancer etc.

I tested a theory today that my brother asked about. He wondered what a cop would do if I vaped sitting in traffic. He felt like it would appear that I was using a certain illict substance while driving. I happened to pull up beside an officer today on my way home from work and decided to test his theory. I pulled the biggest hit I could from my PV and exhaled a cloud that would have made Cheech proud. The officer looked over and gave me the thumbs up. Guess he was aware of vaping.

I would be too afraid that they would confiscate my e-cig until they could determine what exactly I was vaping.

I thought about that but I figured I would roll the dice. Seems vaping is catching on with the mainstream folks, and that is a good thing. Anything that can get someone to stop the stinkies is a good thing.

I agree about it catching on, but i think there are way more vapor's in the US than in Canada, I wonder if it has anything to do with Health Canada being such tight A$$es.

My local vape shop is located directly across the street from the local police department, so now that the city has told the officers they can't smoke in their cars (not sure on this info it came from one of the sales girls LOL) aparently they are now vaping in their cars, on the phones in the PD and at their desks. With the Reo I'm more afraid of someone tackeling me because they think it is a detonator

I've "introduced" 6 or 7 friends to vaping over here too. None have actually quit smoking just yet but all are way down on their daily cigs. While vaping is catching on in the Manila area, there's hardly anyone on this island that is doing it. Makes it hard to find equipment, juices, etc.

I too, like having people wonder what I'm doing when I'm vaping. I was in the bowling alley and hitting my LT when the manager asked me what that was. I told him it was my asthma inhaler and just let it go at that. The next week when I went back there vaping away again, he said "That must be some pretty bad asthma" so I finally told him. He was surprisingly cool with it and even took a shot at it himself on some Red Bull juice. I did tell him I'd revert to stealth vaping with my eGo though so I wouldn't freak out the other patrons. It's not mainstream enough over here yet, but I'm working on it....
