i have kind of a pointless question!!

When I stopped drinking, I got rid of all of my alcohol related paraphernalia. Followed suit with my cigarette paraphernalia. It's not like I have wonderful memories associated with smoking. Far from it. I keep some ashtrays in the closet for some friends that smoke. I don't want to be a complete ... or I'd throw them away too.

I use a '.... bucket' to hold my 510 on the rare occasion that I put it down. My husband and father claim the rest of the ashtrays we have ( they will NOT quit the analogs). To each his own.

I have been collecting ashtrays for years and most have never used, just for display that match my other glass bottle and jar sets. But I do still have the two I used for anologs. They are in a drawer for guest. But interesting question girl! LOL!

not ashtrays they are gone but lighters are a different story i used to collect lighters and probably still will but my ashtrays have since left the building

I have ashtrays that were passed down- LOL They were my grandmothers- Nothing fancy, just what I grew up seeing all my life- and so yes- they will always be kept- and I do use them to hold my PV- and carto's that are filled and ready etc. Plus, the 'cheapo icky' ones will stay- I have lots of family that is still smoking

I have one ashtray, and it's the only one I've ever owned. Sort of odd, now that I think about it! But when I smoked, the only place I smoked was in my basement next to an open window, so there wasn't really any need for more than one tray. Considering I smoked for 17 years, that's got to be some kind of record, right? Haha...
