Firstly thank you marcilynne for this!

I have an ego kit (2 batteries, one charger), but no backups if my batteries go kaput that's it. I gave my 510 I had to my fiance up in Canada, I didn't really think about having a backup. On a fixed income though I realize how stupid that probably was. My generosity and wanting him to be healthier got in the way of logic! I have one LR atty for it, the others kicked it, and only one tank for that atty if something were to happen to all my cartos. And I'm not tech savvy enough to make my own mod lol. If my batteries were to die now, I'd be up the creek until the first, and hopefully my budget would include being able ot get new batteries.

Hello all, first off thanks to everyone here at ECF who is able to PIF with newbies like me who is still getting the hang of things. So, I have a Riva 510 kit that I love but one of my batteries bit the dust yesterday and currently I am low on funding to where I cannot buy another battery for another 4-6 weeks. I only have the one Riva battery left that came with the kit and one charger for it as I've not had an extra money in the past few weeks to buy a backup kit. Hopefully, luck will find me and I'll be able to get a battery soon but for now praying for God's mercy with this current battery to hold out well for me or else the over generous analog users in my office may become my best friend. Thank you all so much and God bless all of you for doing so much good, that's the reason I'm on this site more than any other. Lots of love, Wyatt Derp.

BTW: http://www.liberty-flights.com/products.asp and use the 20% off button on the top left hand corner of your screen (or TV if you use that as a monitor, if you don't have a monitor you won't see it) and get that percentage taken off your kit. They have Joye 510 kits as low as $35.99 with discount with MANUAL batteries and Riva 510 kits (True 3.7v kits) for $29.99 and up.

Just saw this for a good deal on a starter kit:

Here is your best chance to get your eGo for only $39.95 per kit during our summer sale! Each kit comes with two complete sets of batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 cartridges, cone cover, and USB wall charger kit. We also have 750mAh and 900mAh kits in stock with much higher capacity where long sessions and massive vapor production is desired!

I cannot stress enough the importance of having more than one charger. If you're happy with your current set up and don't want to buy another PV, at least have a back up charger for your current gear.

Also a good idea if you only have one kit, is a rechargable disposable PV for emergency use.

Here's one at a decent price: Disposable E Cigarette – 510 E Cigarette | Disposable 510 B Ecig | Disposable 510 B Vaporizer These can be recharged many times more than they rate them for and could possibly get someone by until they could order whatever they needed to get their kit going again. :)

If you have charger issues, is it usually the USB cable or the AC outlet? Which is the one that usually goes? I'm down to one wall outlet but I have several usb cables. Guess I better order.

In my experience, it's been the USB cable that wonks out first and the wall adapters seem to last forever. I really never liked the eGo/Riva usb charging system, but the eGo PT with my wall adapter was a good charging system for me.

+ usb car lighter adapter if you drive a lot.

i'm new to vaping and am quite aware from all of the wonderful folks here at ECF that backups are essential. unfortunately, i have my Echo starter kit and that's it. if anything were to go wrong, i'd go into full sad panda mode. this would be me.

Little by little my batts have been given away or are dying off. Now, all I have left is my 1st gen Volcano Inferno PT. It's a trooper, but as I am currently unemployed, I'm worried as to what happens if it dies out. I used to have a ton of Magma (510) equipment, but I gave them all to my father-in-law to help him make the switch. Winning this contest would be AWESOME! Anyway, good luck to all. Thanks.

EDIT: Update - My daughter made away with my e-cig while I was out and my wife has no idea where she put it. So I am now down to NOTHING. :(

This is so cool as I was just having a mini freak-out this morning about not having any backups. I have my Riva 510 starter kit with one charger and a few cartomizers left. My batteries already seem to be losing charge faster than they should be, hence the panic attack. I absolutely do not want to find myself wondering mindlessly into a gas station and buying a pack of smokes. It's one of my worst fears right now, lol.
