Hi all,
I've been hanging around for a while now, reading posts trying to get answers but so far I'm still clueless.
Sorry if I seem dumb but I am totally new to vaping and there is that much to choose from It's driving me mad!
I really hope you guys can help a dumb ... noob :D

Anyway.....I decided I wanted to quit smoking so I went and got myself an E-Cig. I work alot so I didn't have much time to look online for deals etc so I went to the closest shop to me that sold them.
They didn't give me any advice at all, I basically went with what I liked the look of and payed for it.
I went with an ego ce4, It came with a battery, charger and clearomizer.
I loved it but after trying my friends ce5 i realised mine tasted horrible and burnt.
I then got online and payed for a spare battery and 3 pretty red ce5 clearomizers. One didn't work at all, one leaked out the bottom and the other leaked in my mouth.
I have mangaed to mess about with the leaky ones and get them to work great now and again, but what I want to know is, is there something I can just put on my ego batteries and smoke without all this hassle and wasting my money?
I know there are lots more out there but I'd rather get advice this time. I haven't touched a cig since the day I got my E-Cig and I don't think I ever will touch the dirty things again so I haven't given up yet :)
Please remember I am new to this so please don't reply in E-Cig language  haha
Yes I have been reading posts but they don't make much sense to me.

I hope this makes sense

Hi and welcome to ECF. Seeing as you're located in the U.K. (import taxes) I would suggest you head over to the UK Forum After 5 posts wait 1 hour for the ECF servers to reset and you can post there. Chrissie is a wealth of info and has a list of reputable UK Vendors. She also has a list of B&M shops in the UK.
Best of Luck.

I don't care for the CE4 or CE5's. I think the mini vivi nova clearomizers work great and never leak on me, and the size is perfect for the Ego battery. You can replace the heads when they get old and reuse the tank part over and over. Each kit comes with 3 heads and then later you can just get the heads separately for it, which are fairly cheap.

I had the same issues as you Nicola. Although I am now moved to mechanical, when I used the mini vivi nova with my ego's, I had less issues. It seemed to me, the clearomizers I got were hit and miss. That being the case, I agree with MiamiMom ;)

For a beginner like yourself, I'd go with a Mini Vivi Nova. They work as simple as a clearomizer but are more durable and a more reliable device that don't leak juice like a clearomizer often does.

At some point down the road I'd recommend checking out cartotanks. A little more of a learning curve and a little more time-consuming in setting them up, but I believe they provide better flavor production and are not position dependent like the string-wick delivery devices.

Check out my blog articles for some useful info for new vapors. Click the link below my avatar.

Thank you for the quick and friendly replies. I WILL find one that works for me :)

We know you will  I also second Jason at Vape Escape...a truly remarkable Vendor that listens to customer's wants and needs. In fact in all my time here I've NEVER heard or read anything negative about him. Chrissie also has a discount code for Vape Escape- 10% off :D
