Hello. I am new to this forum and new to e-cigs. After much research I purchased a KGO V2 1100MAH kit from Hoosier E-cig. It worked great for the first two days, but this morning I noticed the liquid was seeping out from the area where the clearomizer meets the battery.

I had been keeping the KGO fully assembled and standing upright (with the mouthpiece at the top) when I wasn't using it. I read storing e-cigs the wrong way may make it leak, but nothing specific for the KGO. Would storing it upright cause leaking? Or is it possible that I have a bad product?

Any tips or insight will be much appreciated!

It is common for clearo's to seep into the battery connection area.
A mix of condensation and juice builds up in the air tube and leaks down the air tube onto the battery top, remove clearo dry battery & underside/ base of clearo with napkin/paper towel.
You may need to do this once or several times a day.

If you draw too hard on them more juice than can be vaporized is pulled into the coil, after several drags the coil can over saturate, the excess liquid leaks down the air tube.

Sooner or later everybody experiences leaking / gurgling / flooding / juice in mouth, you can fiddle with them to decrease the leaking and or try different delivery devices to find something that is more suitable to your wants/ needs.

The issue is not with your KGO battery, it is with your clearo. I store mine standing up and laying down at different times. Just depends on how I leave it.

And, in addition to the above post, sometimes clearos come with a loose center post. Tightening the removable wick section usually solves that problem.

Thanks everyone! I will try these tips.

The Kgo is a GREAT PV (I own it) BUT usually with starter kits there's a "weak link". The CE4s are the weak link IMO. They are the first original clearomizer to be released and have since been surpassed by other clearos. I stopped using them because of a lack of quality.

Are there any clearos that you could recommend trying?

I enjoy a warm vape so I use Vision (brand) Mini Vivi Novas.
With your Kgo battery you can use anything that's 510 threaded or eGo threaded.

With clearomizers my heads, with washing and dry burning, are lasting 10+ weeks. Easy to replace (10 secs) and inexpensive ($2.00). I use the Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova 1.6 ml. When buying anything be wary of clones/ knockoffs. The CE4 is a top coil the same as a Vivi Nova- they give a warmer vape cuz coil is closer to the mouth.
Here's a review:

Here's a long but really good tutorial- realize he's using the larger 3.5 ml Vivi which is too large for the Kgo.

Oh awesome. I'll check those out. Thanks again!

You're welcome. With the Vivi Nova there are 3 diff ohms- 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 ohms. 1.8 or 2.4 ohms is good for the Kgo as it fires @ 3.7 volts...1.8 gives a warmer vape while 2.4 gives a cooler vape.
Here's a chart that will give you an idea regarding volts versus ohms. ALWAYS use single coil juice delivery devices (holds and vaporizes the juice):
