First off, I bought an njoy starter kit today and the batteries (long part of smoke) wont screw into the charger, the store tested out several others, all the same problem.

Second, am I going with the best yet cheapest company? i dont see that they sell the "juice"...can someone explain this to me? I need to quit smoking now, lol.

Well Kelly, I hope you didn't complete the purchase, I mean if you couldn't get a working kit 8-o I would check with suppliers listed here and take your time before buying (unlike myself), however the NJOY is a pretty good ecig, but there are better available. 510, 901 ...a lot. You will enjoy vaping with the right model and good luck. This is a good start and a great forum.:)

The 510 is an awesome ecig. Provides a lot of vapor and a solid throat hit. The 901 provides lots of vapor too, less throat hit but more taste. I personally prefer the 510.
a list of can't go wrong ecigs:
joye 510, aka titan, yeti
dse901
kr808d-1, aka vaporking, nebula

m401, 402, 403, 801, 702- these are also good ecigs the only draw back is the draw is very tight (its like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw)

Hi kelly, welcome to the forum! The njoy npro was my first ecig and I still have it as a back up. It's a pretty good product, so don't fret about your first purchase. The battery should be pushed in gently while turning, you know what I mean? You can't just stick it in and try to screw it on, you have to "push" down while turning. I hope you can get it working, it needs to charge for 8 hours. Meanwhile, start exploring the forum and learning, there's a ton of info on here. Good luck!

Damn, that sucks.
So you actually paid for it and can't get a refund even though the store is aware of the
problem and can't fix it? I ask, because there's some fairly inexpensive solutions around
here for starter kits. Just check some of the vendor links and go to their Starter Kits.

P.S.
dee5: I don't EVEN want to know who's under your desk! (Referring to your avatar

yeah, thing is, i dont have another $80 to invest in this. Im just bumming, ive been a chain smoker since i was 13, im 41 now and in ill health. I was REALLY ready for tomorrow to be the day. On the charger, the green light is constantly on, even if i "hold" the battery in it. The "drag strength" is very inconsisten with these, may get nothing, may get something, and the cherry will flash as if the battery is dead but then i readjust the filter by unscrewing, screwing it in tighter, and then i can puff again....i havent even quit smoking yet and my nerves area already shot!

Hi KellyLynne and welcome to the forum, Im really sorry to hear that your first experience with a PV was a bad one. I dont know what kind of store would sell you a defective product. Honestly i think you should go back and make a big scene, and demand a refund or exchange. I guess you've probably already checked this.. but is there any warrantee information that you could refer to to use to your benefit?

I understand how much of a bummer it must be to buy something you have such high hopes for and find out for it to be a crappy investment. Its happened to us all; but dont worry, you just had a bad first time experience.. I promise you the vaping world is MUCH more fulfilling than what you have now!

With regards to the e-liquid (once you get your personal vaporizer working).. i strongly suggest you do some browsing on the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) section of this forum. You will find some great advice on how to mix your own liquid and how to drip it either directly onto your atomizer or into a cartridge. Mixing your liquid yourself will save you a load of cash and fulfill your vaping needs much more thoroughly.

I, much like you was completely new to this at one point... then i immersed myself in this forum and found incredible help along the way. Just take the time and ask some questions and read read read. You'll find all your answers here... PM me if you have any questions, ill be happy to help!
