Hi, im new here and as of now, 24hr free of smoke. I recently bought an njoy Rechargeable Express Kit at a 7-11 for $19.99 Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits - Rechargeable Express Kits | NJOY

I have a few questions about this product.

Where is the atomizer (heating element?)? Is it in the flavored cartridge or in the battery (thing that looks like a cigarette).
Are there different flavors besides tobacco/menthol?
Is this product reliable as in cartridge life and battery life?

Im quite satisfied with this even though ive only had in a day and a half. I really wish to quit smoke inhalation but still desire my nicotine fix.

If this is the wrong place to post, i do apologize. I just want to get on the road to a more cancer free life.

Congrats on your first step! I think we all started with something similar. the ayomizer is located in the cartidge (removable) part of the device. The base is just tge battery. I tgink I can safely say that mist of us start out, with something similar to what you currently have. I do not know what option njoy has in the way of flavors, but if you find out what type of threading you have (the model number will tell you...its something lije kr808 or 510, or 901...} then you can find prefilled cartomizers from other companies...or even better yet, blank ones that you can fill yourself with any juice you want. You,will likely want to upgrade to,a different device. But take your time and dont get overwhelmed, youll know when the time is right.

There are hundreds of flavors!

Sorry, I can't help with that model. I've never tried it. If you have a 2 piece system, the longer part is the battery and needs to be kept charged, and the shorter piece (the part you put in your mouth) is the cartomizer. A cartomizer is a combination of cartridge and atomizer all in one. The atomizer is inside it surrounding by filler material that holds the juice.

Welcome to ECF, and congratulations on making the move to vaping. Good luck! Feel free to ask any questions or come here for moral support anytime you need it. :)

Hiya, your njoys are RN4081 threading, which is compatible with KR808D1 cartos. So it should be compatible with 808 cartomizers, such as these: Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette
You can buy flavors or blanks to fill with juice yourself.

Kanger also make some good bottom coil 808 cartomizers which you can fill yourself with juice. You might want to do a search for those also.

Dear ObiWan,

Use the force and click on that link in my signature above my quit banner and the Force will lay itself before you; your Q's will be A'd.

That e-cig is alright. The atomizer coil (what you referred to as a "heating element") is in the "filter tip", "cartridge", or "cartomizer" - whatever NJoy calls their flavored atomizers. A battery is exactly that; a battery.

What you have is, in fact, what is referred to as a KR808-D or simply an 808 connection e-cig. Any atomizer/cartomizer designed to use that connection will fit your e-cig.

If you desire something better you will find solid recommendations in The Vaper's Handbook. Read up and absorb 8+ months of hard research in a short period of time.

Thank you all so much for filling me in. I was checking out Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands and found the cartomizers. After looking at the connection from the web site and referring back to my own; they dont quite look the same.

And this is mine,

It might be that the website image just doesnt show the threading.

Again, i thank you all for the support and advice. Im trying to quit but im getting this e-cig thing down first. Its been about 2 days since any actual smoke has hit my lungs :)

That is definitely NOT an 808. So, it's not compatible with the Smokeless Image Volt.

I'm not sure what that is. The cartomizer threading is male like a 510, but looks different.

OK. I just went looking and found a couple of links. Here's a close-up picture of a 4081. And, according to this thread the Njoy npro is a 4081.
