I am very grateful to Mark Howard,elainedwright,and PDIB's thread for me being able to have this particular door, and Kiwi for offering to sell me his chalice. Without the kindness and talent of members on this forum I wouldn't have had the opportunity to buy these things.
The door is magical for me. It reminds me of snorkeling with coral ledges and green sea turtles in Maui at my parent's 50th anniversary(I took the photo in my avatar),and low tide looking for shells in the Bahamas when I was a young boy. The latest thing I found in it was the sea dragon. When I was first with my wife we used to go to the aquarium of the pacific and look at sea dragons even had a refrigerator magnet with one. I want the black wrinkle REO for the "dive mask" around the door from Rob. Some awesome vape gear with extra meaning for me. For me I feel super lucky to have this be my start at joining the REOnauts.
Anyway don't want to derail the thread, but thought I should share this.

When you say "Forced Patina" is that a direct burial process after copper plating?
It really is amazing? It reminds me of verdigris.... And yes the Reos are hard to beat!! (I have 6)!!!
For the last year I have been on an atomizer spree... Like 35 and counting. I have a lathe so I bottom feed just about EVERYTHING!!
I think analogs are cheaper!! Haha

I dont think so I spoke to the machine shop the parts are running its going to be a couple more weeks . I have to retro fits hundreds of mods as well good times

Hey Rob, have you thought of discounting your current stock by the amount it would cost you to retrofit them? It would save you a ton of work and in the end, it wouldn't cost you a dime. I'm sure there's a lot of folks who are happy with the current 510 (like me) who would be happy to help clear out the old ones.

I gave it a thought for about 3 seconds . It would create problems for me trying to list both type of mods the ?s would drive me to toss myself in the dirt . People get confused as it is with all the options on my site . If your game when the time comes I am sure we can work something out .

I'm holding out waiting for the new connection for a new Grand and then the Woodvil release. How long before they sell your house because you didn't pay your property taxes????

Well buy one and pay half your taxes . I wish two reos would effect my taxes I have to sell a truck load to put a dent in my taxes and after I pay the property taxes the government takes there 38% its not pretty. Speaking of taxes we are approaching that dreadful time of year
