When I'm waiting for any package to arrive, I track it constantly. I'll check the tracking ten times a day, sometimes, even though I know there won't be any new info. But it's worse with vapemail. I've found myself counting down the hours until my next vapemail package arrives. It could just be because I'm getting a new device, though. I remember doing this when I was waiting for my SVD to arrive in the spring.

Does anyone else obsessively keep track of when your vapemail will arrive? Or am I a total freak?

I check constantly too. And it's really annoying with the snowstorm and Christmas and and and WHY won't my package get to frikkin Atlanta already!!! How long does it take to go from San Diego to Atlanta??? I want my prezzzzziiiiiieeeeeessssssssss.

Wow, I suddenly feel so much better. Thanks for listening.

Lol! That was my reaction while waiting for a package from two states away. I have vapemail coming from CA that shipped out a day or two after the one from a couple states away, and they're both arriving today, unless something happens.

lolz...you're a total freak

I check too, not quite as obsessively as you tho...
I am kinda peeved with the mail, cuz I was supposed to get vapemail on saturday (scheduled delivery), but according to the tracking number, it isn't even in my home state yet

What is it with USPS lately? It seems like they get slower and slower all the time (even long before holiday season began). Maybe the tracking info is just behind and you'll get it today *fingers crossed for you*

I was actually sitting around feeling all smug and superior because I never had problems -- in my vast 2 months of online vape orders -- with USPS. I'd get my mail a day early. My mailman lady never stole my package, heck my neighbors will bring it to my door if I don't get to the mailbox quick enough for them.

Then suddenly WHAM out of the blue that man.. umm lady in blue has betrayed me. I feel so used.

Same exact boat. Two different orders supposed to arrive Saturday, but until this morning, they were still across the country.

Anyway, VapnWitch, I obsessively track my stuff as well. I even paid for a phone app that gives me notifications every time the status of one of my packages updates. It's handy, but leads to me checking it constantly.

I'm waiting too. I was supposed to have Punkin Tumble and Castle Long coming- very excited- but we had a lot of ice Friday and Saturday so it didn't get delivered. I'm okay with that, ugly weather and all. But on the tracking it said there was a notice left and, hey, of course there was no notice left. The mailbox was frozen shut and no postal worker is going to slip his way up to the door to leave a notice. So it's okay you didn't make the delivery, but don't tell me you left a notice!

I've been keeping that in for a few days.

I called again. The lady agreed with me that the package should be somewhere by now. It left San Diego on the 6th... 3 days is kind of a long time to circle an airport. She sent an email to the sorters in Atlanta to find out where my stuff is. They will - and she stressed will - call me with 1 business day.

If you call and just hit 0 eventually it will put you on hold for approx. 1 hr then you talk to a people.

I actually think there was some kind of issue with the USPS site this weekend. I have about 5 packages I'm stalking, and nothing has moved since Thursday evening. Now, they are all magically in my town. I had one that just said electronic shipping info received for days, and this morning it is at my local post office without any steps in between. How does a package get from California to Ohio without being scanned even once?

Because USPS Tracking isn't true tracking. That's how they cover themselves. They're not required to scan every time. Which is upsetting to obsessive trackers like myself.

I've found that USPS tracking is just like a loading bar on a video game. Means nothing in relation to the actual status.

I had that happen to me once. It was suddenly being delivered when just an hour before it hadn't even hit the big city before my town. I was happy with the post office then.
