Aehm ... you have pure nicotine? Then I sure hope you know how to handle a substance as toxic as that one. One spilled drop on your skin can make you very, very, very sick.

First thing you need to do is to thin the stuff, down to at least 100mg per ml. And that is not exactly the safest thing you will ever handle, so take care. There is a reason most neutral liquids are sold in strenghts like 36, with higher ones being rather rare. Of that fluid (NOT the pure nicotine!) you'd need about 3ml to make your juice into 24mg/ml. 3,16 ml, to be precise.

I'd still advise you to consider giving that nicotine to whoever disposes of substances that dangerous, and just buy some unflavoured juice instead. Because you run a certain risk to become the FDAs poster child for the dangers of vaping - first casualty.

Hi, Im sorry if this has already been asked. I have Flavored E liquid with 0mg Nicotine. I would like to add my own Nicotine to my liquid. I have 99% pure Nicotine in liquid form. How much do I add to 10ml of pre-flavored e Juice to make it 24mg strength . I appreciate any help!
Much as AlexTM said... I sure hope you don't mean 99% nicotine. If so, don't even try. There are experienced chemists on this board who wouldn't mess with the stuff.

Is there a mg/ml rating on the bottle, or a percentage nicotine?
I'm thinking you might not mean the nicotine concentration, but rather that the substance dissolved in the liquid base is 99% pure nicotine (i.e. there are very few other additives/contaminants).

Remember that 24mg/ml means only ~2.4% nicotine in the base liquid. Even if you have 99 mg/ml liquid that means it's <10% nicotine.
(If that is what you have, then going from 99 mg/ml to 24 mg/ml is simple math from there... about 1 part nicotine liquid to 3 parts nicotine-free liquid. But seriously, even the 99 mg/ml stuff is not candy. Wear gloves, lay out your workspace neatly, be very cautious about spills, and keep children and pets away.)

Hi again thanks for the replys.
Please let me re phrase. I don't have it yet, but was considering buying Pure Nicotine to mix in my 0mg ejuice,
Here is the description of the stuff in question: This auction is for one ounce glass dropper with 99% pure liquid nicotine extracted from natural tobacco plant. The chemical formula: C10h14n. Toxicity: virulent, the LC50 to rat taking orally is 500mg/kg. Liquid nicotine can be used as a natural bio-pesticide/Bio-insecticide for gardens and protect ground planted crops at low cost. Mainly used to prevent and control the pest of aphid, noctuid, thripid, stink bug, soybean pod borer and leaf miner on vegetable, tea, fruiters and ripe, as well as yellow ripe borer, flying lice and leafhopper on ripe.. It may also be used as e-liquid nicotine for nicotine gum. (4mg per gum/Nicotine must be diluted), e-cigarette,e-juice, and smokejuice for help quit smoking. WARNING; Nicotine is a natural poison that cannot be made safe and must be handled carefully with gloves. Due to the high percentage of this nicotine, It would be advised that you have a degree in chemistry and highly experienced in making nicotine gum before making your own. ALL SHIPMENTS WILL REQUIRE AN ADULTS SIGNATURE.

So all safety steps considered, would this stuff be appropriate to use?

Thanks in advance good people

After actually quoting this, you are still asking? Unless you have a degree in chemistry, or some serious safety training, just keep your hands of that stuff and get yourself some decent non-flavoured juice in concentrations that are reasonably safe to handle.

(And even then its only reasonably safe – basic precautions are still necessary. This is not water we are handling!)

Thats all fine and dandy when your customs doesn't refuse your orders of e liquid with nicotine in it, however Canada customs has already refused two orders I've made, and I'm looking for other options

Sorry for double post

Well, then you will also wish to inquite about safety precautions.

I really like to both safe money and make my own juice, but I - and I am not exactly alone here - do draw a line at pure nicotine, because it is just to dangerous to handle. If you insist on that, well, good luck. You'll need it.

I found some 100mg/ml stuff. Will go with that and cut it down. Thanks

If your just doing nicotine levels here is an easier calculator.

eJuice Recipe Calculator

Yes I agree this an easyier calculator for ball park measurments, however it does not allow you to input how many drops equal a ml which is crucial if your going to try and duplicate somthing. And if you want to add multiple quantities of different mg strength liquids together it will tell you the end result with out having to do the math. But for beginners I think it Todd's web calculator is a good starting point.
I Suppose I ought to make a tutorial for mine LOL Seems to be getting more complicated hehehe
