I just got my eGo 20 mins ago. Help!

Okay, I just want to make sure I do this right. I got an eGo with no pictures in the instructions. It says there is a nasty tasting primer. I don't know. I haven't vaped it yet. But it says put a couple of drops of eliquid on the "bridge" of the atomizer. I think I just put it on the wick looking thing. It also later states not to over fill the cartridge as this will flood the atomizer. Okay so now I drop liquid on the atomizer that should not be flooded???

I'm confused, and really really want a drag, hit, perhaps it's called an eDrag. I don't know, but I want one!!

drop two drops on that round bridge you see in the atomizer. fill up the cart about 3/4 full of liquid and then put the filler back on. take a paper clip and push the filler down so it absorbs the juice. bring it back up flush with the top of the cart. you can add a drop if it's not slushy working. then align the cart for that the narrow tip is parallel with the white square you see down in the atty. cignot.com has a great little tutorial on their web page for starting out.

Blow out the atty through the threaded end into a paper towel until no more fluid comes out.

Put 2-3 drops of juice on the metal mesh bridge on your atty.

Make sure the cart is wet-ish.

You might have a gurgling sound for awhile and might flood the atty first couple of times but don't fear. you will get the hang of it.

Take the atomizer and put the battery end in a tissue and blow on it until no more primer comes out. That gets rid of the primer. Now take the cart and drip your eliquid into the filler until it is slushy looking. I use a paper clip to smush the filler sideways a little to make sure the liquid went all the way through. Now put 3 drops of eliquid on the bridge of the atty (sticking up bump in the bottom of the atty). Put the filled cartridge on in such a way that the base of the cartridge makes a T with the bridge. If the cart base is in line with the bridge, it won't wick very well. It takes a little experimentation. Best of luck.
You will know that your atty is flooded if it gurgles. Just blow it out into a tissue if this happens, no harm done.

Thanks so much... I thought flooding the atty would kill it. I guess it dries and is no longer flooded.

will blow it out also... Both ways. one of you said from the threads out of the little hole and one said from the hole towards the threads. I guess blowing it out can be done both ways!!!

Do your self a favor and watch some of the videos. If I was following some of the above instructions to the letter i would be confused also.

I have successfully taken my first vape. Thanks for the help. As for the videos I have watched them, and will watch them again. But I knew this forum would be able to answer my question, quicker than I could search for the answer within an hour worth of videos. Thanks for the tips ya'll. I have quit smoking as of today.

Bro, put 3 drops on the wick...inside the atomizer....then put your cartridge on..
You'll want to go on youtube and learn about drip tips, where you drip directly on atomizer, and vape that way, without using a cartridge, you get a much harder cleaner hit..er vape...

It is so much cleaner than a smoke. I got the Marlbro flavor 24mg, and could not taste it. It seems like there is no taste at all, but then again, I'm not sure what I am tasting on an analog, and not going back to find out. It seems to be a much healthier replacement. Now the flip side. My wife can't take a drag without coughing. Ordering VG to calm down the throat hit. Actually ordering a chemistry lab it seems so I can go to flavors I can taste, and get a vg/pg mix she likes. She seems to think this is harsher than analogs at this point. I can hopefully tone it down. Plus I might like a little VG, just for the extra smoke production. It doesn't seem to produce as much "mist" ummm.. eMist? eSmoke? as I see on the videos for newbies. Perhaps VG will help.

you should blow the screw ends of the atomizer in a tissue and it will take some of this primer out.
it will have a peculiar tatse until it fully goes

I am really nervous about making the switch to e cigarettes. I ordered my eGo today and a few small bottles of e liquid. I am totally confused about terms, initials and slang. Is an analog a regular cigarette? I have been reading this forum for a few days and watching the videos so that hopefully when i get my eGo i will know what to do. I kind of wish i had ordered a drip tip.
