I just made a 6 Volt passthrough.

I love 6 volts with an 801 atty. I found a Powerline Universal Ac adapter with USB port. I used this before to plug my passthhrough into. It has a switch to change from USB to 3V 4.5V 6V 7.5V 9V and 12V. I cut the cord and attached a RCA plug and plugged this into the passthrough that I made last week. It is set on 6V and it is a passthrough beast. I'm loving it.

I HATE AMAZON, they say they have it, then it is on backorder, etc.etc.etc.
When I order I like it to ship asap, I will not order from them but will look elsewhere for it. Thanks for the info, more stuff, more mods, it is soooo addicting.

As far as I know amazon is only the middleman between the retailer and the costumer on most of what they sell, in this case it is sold by amazon , but if you see on the right, there are other 3 that sell them.

BTW, I didn't even know these existed , I just typed it on a search on yahoo and that is the first that showed up.

Yeah, i've been using mine to power my passthough through usb. I mean i look at the damn thing every day. I can't believe I overlooked the possibility.

That is it. I just cut the end off the cord and put on the plug.

Me too. I made the one with the wall wart last week and today I picked it up and noticed that the plug on it was exactly like the one I cut off the wall wart. I got so excited. I couldn't hardly wait to get the RCA plug on it. I sure wasn't disappointed. I like 6V but you can choose whatever you want. It is awesome.

Great stuff. You will have all the forum members scrounging through their boxes of old chargers/adapters to find a power source for every outlet in their homes. Using the RCA connector makes it a breeze to change power supplies on the fly.
