Tar. I keep going back and forth between analogs and e-cigs because of that X-Factor that analogs have. That X-Factor is tar. It's the gummy black stuff that sits deep into your lungs that releases nicotine and other alkaloids into your mucus membranes long after your cigarette is finished. It's the reason I can have one cigarette an hour but find the need to constantly hit my e-cig.

We need to come up with a solution to this a.s.a.p!

I think maybe wta juice might help out. Have you looked into that. I use snus to fill the gaps. You can keep it in your lip for up to 2 hours

When I first switched from cigs to vapor, I felt that the tar gives the smoke "chemical" density. The only way I felt I could mimic that with vapor was a "thicker" cloud. Hence the urge for more and more vapor, or at least a "moister" vapor, chocked full of nicotine. After a while of this, I finally concluded that neither was a completely satisfying replacement for cigs, but the many other benefits of vaping have been enough to tilt the scales away from smoke, for me.

Chipotle.
Tar was the worst part of smoking for me, I used to cough up unspeakably disgusting things in a hot shower when I was a smoker.

What helped me the most in transition from smoking to vaping was to take a step back and stop trying to compare vaping to smoking on ANY level, it's an entirely different experience which you simply cannot treat the same as smoking and thus you must go into with a different mindset. You're just NOT going to get everything you got from cigarettes with vaping, the sooner you make peace with that the better IMO.

I've tried to explain why I subohm on a mech more times than I care to admit to, and this is the best one I've ever read.

The day I started vaping my cigs declined from 25 to 5 without any will power. I figured the the ecigs covered the nic and there's some other stuff in the tobacco that's not nic. After 6 weeks of dual use I stopped the cigs. It took a bit of effort to stick to that but without ecigs I would have failed. I've smoked smoked 3 cigarettes since then to see what it's like. They were unpleasant and unsatisfying. My brother starting vaping last Christmas and just went smoke free recently. Just keep vaping. You'll get there.

You know what helped me take a step back... as a paramedic... Not dtying attached to a ventilator with a tube stuck in my trachea...

I found that the nicotine from vaping was a pretty good trade off, and before you know it I didn't miss tar.

Not dying a slow death of suffocation from COPD is pretty cool...
