I just ordered some the other day when I bought some juice. I was kind of worried that they would break my rba is I dropped it because they wouldn't give. I guess a ss one would probably just pop off before it did damage.

Start buying stainless steel drip tips.

Ya won't break those

Go to CherryVape and get some of their new "Mini Universal" adapters. Stick that in the top of your device (where you would put the drip tip) and put your drip tip into the top of the Universal. They help absorb the shock if you drop or knock over your mod. Plus they act as a heat buffer between your coils and the base of the drip tip. This direct exposure to heat seems to weaken many acrylic drip tips, and might be what is causing them to break so easily. The Universal isolates your drip tip from the heat source, and should go a long way to mitigate this thermal damage to the plastic in the base of your tips.

I met a woman at the Northern Virginia vape meet last month who collects CherryVape drip tips and she was constantly breaking them off. She picked up a bunch of the Mini Universals at VapeFest, and she SWEARS by them now.

They just seem to be so brittle. I usually break them from drops. The latest tip broke when my PV fell over on the desk

hmm maybe try the shorter drip tips? thats one reason why I would never buy these crazy expensive 50-100$ drip tips.. because I would surely break it within a week

I have a tip made from black Delrin that's been very durable. It's survived several drops from my hands and desk(s) to the wood and concrete floors. It's ugly, but it works.

The tip adapter sounds like a good idea as well.

I once broke a drip tip off of a stardust. I didn't even drop it, it broke inside my pocket. The worst part was that half of the drip tip was still lodged in my clearo, and was impossible to get out. So I just salvaged the new atomizer head and trashed the rest. After that I decided on metal drip tips whenever I'm using stardusts. You would have to try pretty hard to break one of those

Soft silicone tips solve the problem entirely.

That is a good idea. Where can I get tips like that?

I am glad that I am not the only one out there with this problem. I did order a SS tip that just arrived today. It is very solid, but I think I will invest in a couple of spares just in case.

I broke my favorite drip tip about a week ago. Was able to super glue it back together, but ordered a replacement anyway. New one arrived yesterday, mended one is now in my backup supplies. Some have mentioned metal tips - my first tip was metal and I didn't like it. On my RBA it would get hot. I like the insulating properties of acrylic or ceramic.
