Since I started vaping two months ago, i keep holdong my kGo all the time, when i am not using it, I am usually holding my Blu, Volt, or my mistic (cig look alike), I have 0 nic liqiud that I use all day long, in the morning i start with the heavy stuff like 36% nic but i feel that this is not healthy... how do you guys do it? do you specify time for vaping? do you vape all day long??

I vape when I would have had a cigarette, which was about every hour.

I do find that while the cigarette would have lasted me about 10 mins (tight RYO,) I vape for 15-30 mins, then put it down.

I don't hit my pv the same all of the time, though. I usually take 2-3 puffs in a fairly short time, then it'll be a few minutes before I do it again.

Your kGo, your Blu, Volt...it's better than holding that cig. I vape most of the day at 14mg Nicotine. 36mg, as far as I know, is gthe heaviest...try to bring that level down, if you can (I think you get more flavor from your juice that way, but I could be wrong).

Whatever keeps that analog out of your hands---keep doing it.

yes that's what i do exactly, the question is, is this healthy?? when I started vaping i imagined myself holding my pv once every 4 hours not every ten minutes.

Anythings better than analogs. Vaping 0 nic all day isn't going to do you much harm, IMO.

I would suggest lowering the nic in the morning, stay with your 0 nic but take a few "booster" of low nic, maybe 6-12mg, throughout the day. You might find yourself vaping a little less often. It sounds like you're trying to make up for the lack of nicotine by going through the hand/mouth ritual all day. Nicotine leaves your body in a few hours, (half life approx 2hrs), so your 36mg is down a lot by lunchtime.

I vape all day at 18mg, down from the 24mg I used to vape. I could probably switch between 18 and 0 if I tried, but I'd be vaping like a machine if I tried to use 0 nic all day.

I use 24mg (coffee) as my 'wake up' vape (How cool is that, being able to have both 'fixes' at the same time?) and switch to 18mg during the day and usually 12mg in the evening. If I find that I am constantly vaping, I do have to set a time limit, say, 1/2 hour 5 hauls OR 1 hour 10 hauls. It's just to become conscious of what I am doing.

Everyone is different, so YMMV (actually your mileage will vary). You will figure out what works best for you. Some of my signs of over doing it are squeaky voice, headache, slight dizziness. Check your individual signs and drink water even if you never have or are not thirsty. E-juice sucks the water from your body.

Hang in there!

I have always thought it would be nice to have a small button that could set a timer to chime after 5-10 minutes . With micro-chipping it shouldn't be a difficult, but I guess it really isn't needed. Can be a little disconcerting, though, to realize that one has been vaping for 2 hours straight.

Now if you are vaping without benefit of a PV, that is a whole different problem

You're not alone; I vape all day too. I'm not overly concerned about it, unless I get my heart pumping, which happens from time to time if I overdo it.

Just a small remark - nic level is not in percentages, but in mg per ml.

I think all companies changed the nic levels to percentages. . . I know it is out of the usual but hey . . . i am just trying to ride the wave.

I'd second sailorman's suggestion to get onto more of an even keel with the nicotine. I know that if i tried 36 in the morning, and 0 thereafter, it'd drive me nuts. I use 18 all day long, most days, but I don't constantly vape. I do sometimes feel like vaping for longer periods (social gatherings,) and I generally use 8 to 12 mg/ml for that.

Maybe try a 24mg for morning, and 6-12mg throughout the rest of the day. I also think that you may feel the need to vape less if you're getting at least a small amount of nic with it.

I pretty much vape all day long as well for about a min or two every 30 min. I did this for a few days at 24mg and found that to be too much. Like another poster said it got my heart beating. I was trying to recreate that "calming" feeling that normal smokes would give. I have found that to be almost impossible and am now content with it. Since then I have been down to 18 and 12mg all day. I still feel much better than I ever did smoking.

A few days ago I ran out of all the juices that I liked and broke down and bought a pack....about 5 smokes into the pack and I started to feel all congested, taste buds were grossed out, and a general sick feeling. To top it off the rest of my house started to get congested as well and I'm an outside smoker. I'm no doctor but I would rather vape ALL DAY EVERY DAY instead of smoke just one cigarette.
