I kept saying " I don't want a 510 kit, they look way too big and goofy"...

Yup, I avoided the 510 despite all the rave cause in photos it looked like a 3 foot long slurpy straw. I have been using a generic 402 clone and was looking to upgrade to another super mini & ONLY a super mini!

Then I find a site (can't remember which one) but it says the 510 is 112mm in length...

I ask around to see if this is just the battery or maybe even just the atty ha.

Nope, the whole cig with cart.

I look at mine and it is 94mm with cart.

Needless to say, I'm joining the 510 club! I just ordered that no-box deal from cignot.com which seems like an amazing deal.

2 complete Black 510's kit & some extra carts cost me $45 shipped. I saw HealthCabin had some more options with colors and stuff but I don't like to wait 14 days for stuff to get here from china (No Offense to any company) Just not my way.

Anyhow, thanks everyone for all the great 510 info and putting up with any anti 510 comments i may have made. ;)

You will like the 510 alot. The atty burns a little hot so if you cut with VG...expect the flavor to take a hit. I recomment the pyramid tea bag mod for a cart filler. Works well for me and is completely reusable. I love my 510...great vapor production. Get a mega battery if you are going to be away from the house though.

I personally like my m401 for when I'm on the go.

Cignot really is great. I bought a 901 first, and a kit from elumacig and I haven't really touched them since I got my 510s. Cignot really is the way to go, we've emailed back and forth, and it was always very quick response times. Plus shipping to Wa from them takes around 3 days, and if I order by noon I know it'll be in the mail that day. I can't speak highly enough about them! Don't forget spare batteries and atomizers... You may not need them today, but you never know what tomorrow will bring. That reminds me, I need more attys!

Yeah I have been thinking about extra attys. I found lightcig has em for about $8 and free shipping over $15 I also looked at their PCC's which look kinda cool.

Is there any other site I may want to look at for cheap attys and such?

Another thumbs up for the 510 and Cignot here. MY wife and I just recently entered the world of PV's and after trolling these forums for a few days we decided to order from there. The 510 hasn't disappointed us one bit, but as previously mentioned in the thread the regular battery will poop out fast with heavy use. We ordered the PCC so we always have a battery charging while we are on the go.

When I ordered my 510 kit I assumed it was going to be longer like a pen. Was surprised at the shorter length approximately size of a analog 100 like the other poster said. Now I'm looking at the Mega 510 batt, atty, and cart which comes in at 35mm more than the regular 510. Which happens to be exactly the length of these mechanical pencils I have laying around. I think I could deal with that for longer battery run time and larger cart for juice.

I think all the retailers should have a shot of all models they carry side by side with measurements and something common for scale like a pen or pencil. Would help new buyers out on their first purchase.

I agree with ya on this one. That would make stuff a lot easier for new people.

One thing that happens with most new users is that, when they start, they want something that looks like a cig (not only size, but even down to the white-batt-brown-cart-red-tip).
Then after about a month (if that), they don't care what it looks like. It's all about, "how does it hit?", and "how long between charges?".
I have to wonder how many people that have been vaping for 6 months are still using stock equipment. I bet it's a small number.

I buy from cignot, 3 for 25. I'd rather pay a tad more because I've already vetted them. Free shipping on a lot of stuff, and they have good juice. I haven't found a pcc that i like for the 510. Make sure they work with manual batteries if you have them. Not all will.
