I was wondering at what point should I refill/stop vaping a cartomizer and have never experienced the burnt taste so I decided to somewhat take apart the cartomizer to see whats inside and this is what I got. The "cotton" was dry but the inner wrap was soaked. I'm guessing this one was close to being burnt? Obviously I would refill it before it got this dry but this WOULD have still been a good cartomizer to use?

The whole refilling cartos drove me crazy! I was always flooding them because I was scared I was going to burn them! Started using them in cartotanks & I'm now in vaping heaven! Normally when it's time to replace my cartos I start to get this really tight draw like its near impossible to take a drag. Before that the flavor usually starts to drop off.

Chimney34 - I did the same thing. My first carto I got that burnt rubber taste. After trying to use it and not liking it, I went and bought more equipment, then I decided to try another carto. I got liquid all over the place but I definitely got more than enough liquid into it. I'm not surprised though. Me being neat at anything is hard. I'm worse than a kid with finger paint.
