I think there is something wrong with my taste buds!

I love custard in everyday life, frozen, soft, creme brûlée, you name it. BUT every custard ejuice I have tried tastes like foot to me. I've tried TVR Vanilla Custard, Killer juice Bobo Island Vanilla Custard, and Strix Elixir's Delish (and I'm a HUGE Strix fan). Can't vape any of them.

Are other custards better or could it be that my taste buds just react badly to the ingredients? I would love to be on the custard bandwagon and I just can't!

I'm not a huge custard fan either... but I hve tried most of the ones you listed and they're really not the ones EVERYONE is raving about - Personally, I like: Captain's Custard from Elevated Vaping: Captains Custard – Elevated Vaping - Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping High Quality Eliquid

and I liked Smoked Custard from Nick's Blissful Brews... Smoked Custard by Nicks Blissful Brews at Elevated Vaping – Elevated Vaping - Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping High Quality Eliquid

again, these aren't even the custards EVERYONE has been raving about...

I think those include: that one from England... Bryce's Custard, Big Willies, Nicoticket, Suicide Bunny - I dunno... I am sure some Custard Aficionados can help here...

I agree though... Some have a harsh, funky taste... and I think that attests to the difficulty mixing these flavors...

BTW, My favorite Creme Brulee flavor is and has always been Want2Vape's... not creamy... more of the Creme Brulee topping flavor... the burnt sugar etc...

the mothers milk and suicide bunny flavors are immensely popular... and nearly a 180 from the ones you've tried.. I am not a fan of them... though they are good juices... I think I did like the mother's milk best - that has a non-overpowering strawberry flavor

Sometimes there are flavors that just won't click for a particular person. Take me as an example. I really like coffee but every coffee flavor that I've tried comes out tasting like barf. Conclusion, I like coffee as a beverage but not as something to be inhaled.

That's what I'm wondering about custards!!! I know the ones that I've tried are not top of the line, but I'm wondering if the flavor profile is the same as the "good" ones. I don't want to keep searching for one, if it is just something that doesn't click.

Grants vanilla custard. Tastes just like custard to me. That being said I can only vape it for maybe a half hour at a time. It is super rich flavored. Glad I own a few bottles of it, but certainly not an all day vape for me. Nothing wrong with your taste buds. Everyone just has different preferences. I prefer vaping fruit flavored ejuice. Everyone is different.

Only one I tried that actually tastes like a vanilla/sweet coffee and not 3 day old burnt truck stop goo..

I love Custard's Last Stand by Nicoticket -- true custard taste, can even taste the eggs. I love it straight and mix it with everything under the sun for whatever flavor of custard strikes my fancy.

Their Creme Brulee is fantastic too, but it's one I have to steep a bit for the caramelly goodness to come forward for me. Really both of them just get better and better as they age.

I am the same way with coffee Vapes. My wife likes MBV Hazelnut Coffee, but i don't care for any coffee flavors. But try taking my coffee away in the morning and you have to ask yourself one question, "do you feel lucky, punk".

Favorite Candy: Carmel: Only as an mild accent in tobacco juices.

I know taste is subjective! Caveat aside...I did like Custard's Last Stand by Nicoticket BUT when I tried Mad Alchemist's "Custard Matter" I knew that's where I will be going back, again and again.

Hurricane Vapor has a good one that may or may not be available (big help, I know) called Fog Milk. It has a deep custard flavor...lots of egg, IMO, and very rich but smooth and not too sweet.

I'd give an eye tooth to try Grant's Vanilla Custard. Eventually.

Like you -- I thought I'd be a shoe-in for a custard lover -- took me a while! Had to get past the initial newbie vapor tongue and let my taste buds get back in check. Once they did, tho -- I have been on a custard rampage. Love it. Good luck!!

I love eating Snickers & related treats that share similar ingredients..

Tried a bottle of a Snickers-type e-liquid & it tasted pretty much exactly like the real thing -- yet I pretty much hated it! (Not only that, but apparently I have a peanut-vape allergy, even though I can eat them just fine! )


Just one of those weird vaping things.. Don't try to fight it..


But if you must.. I like Vanilla Custard from Velvet Cloud Vapor.. Steep it for a month or longer..

Even then, I need to take a break from it after each bottle, and not re-order it for a while... Otherwise, I think I'd end up hating custard vapes after too much for too long...
