The only other thing I could suggest is returning it if it isn't working out for you.

Yes, I have read your posts. I've also read the posts of people trying to help you figure out what is going wrong for you. We trouble shoot things all day for people here, forgive me if my attention wasn't focused solely on you.

Not sure how to put this and be polite as possible... but...

Look, I don't know what your deal is, nor do I care. You haven't been helpful, other people have. You've made strange suggestions ignoring details that were even repeated a couple of times. If you don't want to reply to me anymore, I'm not asking/forcing you to. Maybe it's just me, maybe the two of us have some weird personality clash, but at this point I just don't care. I'm not here to argue(afterall, there are better things we could all be doing). Specifically I'm wondering how it is that people are getting holes in their cartos(hammer and nail is a bad idea, not worried about it getting out of round, I'd rather avoid a method that might involve a slip and hammering trim nail through the end of my finger) and that's it.

edit: Now doing some more searching I did see that apparently this works:
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...splay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

and since it's not leaking now(yay, finally got one that didn't leak live a sieve), for long term use(compared to just being an experiment at this point) I just may consider picking up something like that.

I thought about that, but figured the nick I was making with a saw was even smaller. I should have a 1/16 bit in a toolbox somewhere, I'll give that a go next time.

I think it may have gotten lost in the other chatter, however my hammer and nail hole carto is still leak free so far and actually does seem to be filling the carto(it's just not the safest, or likely most reliable method of making a hole for a multitude of reasons).
