I have the subox mini as well. I prefer the .5 ohm coils, which are rated for 15W to 60W

The 1.5 ohm coils are rated for 10W to 26W.

Try to vape the 1.5 ohm coils at 10W with a full tank of juice.

If that doesn't get rid of the burnt taste, then put in a brand new 1.5 ohm coil and let the juice steep, proceed to vape at 10W.

If it still tastes burnt, check your battery with a voltage meter to see if it is operating at a higher wattage than the screen reads.

If the problem continues to persist then I would call Kangertech directly. They should be able to assist you.

I prefer .5 ohm coils like I said, but when I tried the 1.5 ohm coil I made the mistake of going directly to 26W, which in actuality shouldn't be an issue, but I found that it can lead to a burnt taste. Its best to start at a low wattage and slowly make your way up.

If you are using the RBA then make sure that you have the proper ratio of cotton. RBA's require significantly less cotton than a true RDA.
