That doesn't sound tasty. Well, I would suggest you clean the atty either by using distilled water and blowing it out or it could possibly need an overnight soak. I don't know how to do that but there are several videos on youtube that should help you out with that.

Sounds like my DIY efforts (groan) but I keep on trying, and coffee takes the taste away 
Atty has been washed and dry burned. No good so it is soaking. I have brushed, gargled and drenched my mouth. I washed my hands and I still smell it on them. SHOWER TIME!

I did make a caramel apple that is awesome though! So the mixing day isn't lost!

Um. How strong did you make this at? Caramel cap is an extremely strong flavor as are most coffee flavorings. About 2% caramel cap is usually more then enough.

Caramel capp is extremely strong and needs a bit of complementary flavor to take the edge off.
@ OP: you are heading in the right direction. I would suggest maybe some french vanilla or dulce and a touch of sweetener as well.

I have no idea what I ended up with. I started at 4% and added cream and sweetener. Well, that tasted like pee so I just kept adding all kinds of stuff trying to cover up the pee. It never happened.
I added some vanilla swirl before it was over with. Still pee. I have no dulce.

I've never successfully 'fixed' a bad flavor by adding more flavors hehe. I've usually just ended up mixing up an equal batch of unflavored juice and added it to the bad batch. If that didnt help it, i dump it.

I think I'm just throwing that batch away. Its just 5mls. No biggy. I don't even want to open the cap and chance catching that scent or taste again!

Back to the lab today............. Hopefully no more cat pee.
TPA Sweat Sweet Cream is nasty, nasty stuff. Bury it in the back yard. End of story.

Is that what made it so nasty? I just got that stuff and yesterday was my first experience using it.
That would be my guess.
There may be a way to use it "correctly" (something on the order of 1 drop per 5mls for a cheesecake, maybe), but after 2 attempts of my own it's been relegated to the flavor graveyard. To me, it smelled and vaped like extremely sour milk, and it was really tough to get it out of my atty.
Soak your atty in white vinegar with some lemon juice. Rinse in hot water and let it dry then do a dry burn. It will get the taste out of it.
Haha. Thanks Hairball. It went from alcohol to vinegar this morning. I'm a little afraid to try at this point.
Ill set it aside and use my others until I feel daring enough to attempt that atty again!
It will come out, and hairball's advice is spot-on. I have a Tiramisu recipe that's really good at wiping out bad flavors too.

I dunno as I am too new at the DIYing to have a solid opinion. Buuuuuttt...I recently ordered some TPA Coffee flavoring and just sniffing the bottle was a definite Eau de Cat pee moment. And so it was with some LorAnn's Coffee flavoring, now that I think about it...
Maybe its the coffee/espresso/capp flavoring, itself?
I don't know. I have some MadVapes coffee flavor that is really good. It did steep for 3 or 4 days, but its really good now.
I'm not sure I'll be trying to make my own Folgers or Starbucks for a while. Haha. I'll stick to fruity and candy flavors for DIY. For now at least...........
