Thank you all again..you guys are beyond amazing!
We found out today that they were mistaken. They found cancer cells in the lung fluid which means it is Stage IV and well, bad. I am helping him set up a living will etc. before I have to go home this weekend. I feel more at peace with everything though. This is just so overwhelming, but it is me that he wants to handle everything and talk to. I love him so very much.

My husband sends his hellos and thank you to you all as well. He is doing very well over there and has now sent in his Warrant Officer packet....Alabama and sunshine, here we come

Gowsgirl, bless your heart! How wonderful your Grandfather has a granddaughter who loves him to pieces! Being surrounded with family, friends, and an abundance of love is an awesome thing...truly priceless...and it must warm his heart tremendously. I'd say your Grandfather is a rich man in many ways.
