sorry for bad lunguge

that first time for me

2- flavour Pineapple (nature identical flavour substances - propylen glycol usp - free from alcohol - free from swin products ( from cake store also ) made in london
3- distilled water ( sterilized distilled water for preparation of i.v. solutions ) sterile & non-pyrogenic ( from fharmcy )

i put 20 ml glycerine with 5ml distilled water with maybe 0.5 ml flavour
distilled wate 25% flavour 1% or 2%

and i think i must be wait for 2 week but i start vape after 1 hour and its good but i feel something look like very small cough
and i think e-liquid now always leak to my battery

i try second time

50 ml glycerine and 5ml distilled water (10%) and 0.5 flavour (1%)
becuse i think flavour very strong (how i know % for flavour ) becuse the man in cake store tell me put 1 ml for 1 litre , but maybe for something differint not for vape

but i will kept that to use after some days to make more good

its right or anything wrong in item or what i do

Hello, and welcome! I mix my own e-liquid, and also use only VG base.

Apparently, you want to use an e-liquid with no nicotine, in which case those ingredients look fine to me.

The VG looks good to me. You want food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade VG. I don't know if there is a certification similar to USP in your country, but at least that is food-safe VG.

For thinning the VG, my opinion is that distilled water is best. I use just plain distilled water from the grocery store. My main concerns with using tap water would be with the minerals and chlorine in it. Just need pure water.

Using 25% water would make it very thin. I find that between 12% and 16% works well for me.

The flavoring looks fine to me. I stay away from those that have oils or alcohol in them. Read through the sticky threads in the DIY forum that cactusgirl linked to above, for more information on flavorings. Just add enough to get the taste you want, which will probably involve several attempts to get correct. Adjust your VG/water ratio based upon how thick the flavor liquid is.

Good luck!

The main problem I ran into when I began mixing my own liquids was getting the thickness right, and this is really a simple case of trial and error. If you post some more info on what you're using to vape I may be able to help more, but generally you'll have problems with wicking if your VG is over 50% when using cartomisers or tanks. If dripping directly, or using traditional atomiser/cart combo, you can go up to perhaps 75% VG before you start to also encounter wicking issues.

I use Boge cartomisers and still haven't got a single formula that I can rely on for any flavour/strength liquid, but I do things this way:
1. Get an empty bottle and fill it with about 40% VG as a starting point.
2. Add your (PG based) flavouring to whichever concentration you think will be correct when the bottle is full, not for the 40-50% you currently have in there.
3. Add your thinning solution of choice until the bottle is 80% filled. Personally I use vodka as a thinner because it's so hard to find distilled water (which would be the best option) here without resorting to fragranced ironing water that probably isn't safe to inhale. If you don't want any alcohol left in there you can still use vodka; just remove the lid and leave the bottle to stand in hot water for several hours and you'll end up with reasonably pure distilled water.
4. Shake vigorously and begin tests on your normal equipment. At the moment you're mainly testing that the liquid is wicking properly so you can add 0.5ml to a tank or do a fill on a cart/carto. It really helps if you have a pre-filled version of your usual cart at hand so you can compare the two and find out whether your thicker liquid is starting to burn too soon or if it's flooding the atty too easily.
5. As you test, adjust the liquid by adding either more thinner or more VG until you get the consistency right. I add about 2ml at a time when mixing up a 30ml bottle. It helps to keep a note of how much of each you're adding for future reference with similar strength flavours.
6. Once you have a liquid that will wick properly and carry flavour you can top up the rest of the bottle with PG and that shouldn't affect the thickness one way or another to any noticeable degree.
7. Leave the bottle to age naturally or put it in a bath of warm water with the lid on until it develops a deeper colour. I leave my bottles to age naturally in the fridge door (darkness and cold helps to preserve nicotine and flavour).

Now you've got a full bottle of (and a formula for) custom flavoured liquid that you know will continue to work with your choice of battery/atty/carto/whatever, which makes creating additional batches much simpler. If you change equipment or use a flavour with a very different concentration you'll need to do some more testing, but follow the same steps and it should work fine. If you want to add nicotine you may need to reduce the starting amount of VG unless you can get hold of nicotine-infused VG, just to give you enough space at the top of the bottle to do your fine tuning.

Edit: Forgot to add that VG can vary a lot in terms of thickness and nothing on the bottle is going to give you a clue about how thick it is when you first get it. A handy way to compare VGs is to use a syringe and see how much pull you have to put on the plunger to get the stuff inside there. The VG I have here seems to be thicker than most and requires a fair amount of effort with the syringe, so if yours sounds thinner you'll need to adjust the base amount you use to suit.

It's generally 10% flavor and 12% water
how i know the flavour no have oil
Read the ingredients on the bottle
and how many days i need to wait before i start vape my diy mix
As long as there's little or no alcohol in the juice you can vape it immediately

Yes you seem to have medical grade distilled water which is absolutely fine. The stuff I meant is sold for filling steam irons to avoid the limescale buildup from tap water, and they often add extra fragrances to it.

Having the liquid in the fridge is probably not necessary without the nicotine content, but I have read information on certain flavours that suggests they'd be better off in the fridge for long term storage. Unless you can find instructions for your specific flavouring, just do whatever's easiest. If the taste ends up not as you expect, you can always change to/from the fridge for the next lot.
If you carry a bottle with you for refilling things then that doesn't need to go in the fridge; just keep it out of direct sunlight for the good of the plastic and flavouring.

I make my personal liquid the same way, flavor-vg-nicotine cut 50/50 with pg. I don't really bother measuring what percentage of flavor i put in it. Just accurately measure your nicotine, throw in 20-25 drops of flavor, and fill the rest of the bottle with glycerine. Shake well and then vape. If you do not shake your bottles properly and get the flavor mixed well the flavor will settle at the top of the solution and before you know it you are just vaping glycerine and nicotine with maybe a faint taste of real flavor. Also the distilled water isn't really necessary, you'll find it's just weakening your flavors.

The liquid nicotine you are using to mix with is based with VG I take it? I would recommend ordering some pg too then and getting rid of the water, the water does nothing but dilute your mixtures. Sure you are able to cut it and make a little more with the water but with no other benefits to its addition its best to go with the pg. I stopped adding distilled water to my solutions and there was a noticeable upgrade in the quality of my liquid, so if you can get rid of it then do so.

Yes you can combine distilled water and PG
OR
only use PG
OR
only use distilled water
Some don't use PG because they're allergic to it while others use a lower quantity of PG.
Overall you will get better quality juice with the PG.

i can change 10% disilled water to pg

i mean i use 10% pg

and stop use distilled water

or use pg and distilled water toghether with vg

I order my flavors from this company in Poland
Here's 100 ml PG
Propilene glycol (99,5%), 100 ml. - Inawera Flavors
here's 1 liter PG
Propilene glycol (99,5%), vol. 1 L - Inawera Flavors

If you go to the Pharmacy you have to special order it. Tell them you're making non allergenic soap and Propylene-Glycol is one of the ingredients.
