There's a beat up Omega for $55 shipped on the last page of the classys right now with free empire drip shield. It takes your 18650s. You could probably get it for 50 since it's been sitting there. Should be really easy to trade that empire for juice or hardware. You could spray paint the omega yourself and have one the best mods out there for super cheap. If I hadn't just bought a phidias that baby would have been mine the first day it went up for sale.

Just regarding the batteries, for the 14500 and 18650 the first two digits are the diameter in mm, the next two digits are the length in mm, and the last '0' means that it is a round cylindrical battery. (Measurements are approximate, batteries with protection circuits slapped on the end can be longer than those without) A 14500 is about the same size as a regular AA battery, but don't get them mixed up. A 14500 is more than twice the voltage of an AA, and can be almost three times the voltage if freshly charged. Not sure if you knew that, but had to be safe.

Also, the bolt on the madvapes site takes 18500, not 18650. Well, it can take 18650 if you're willing to do some work (cutting down the spring and getting an o-ring to make up the difference when screwing the cap on) but otherwise you are supposed to buy the $9 extension ring to be able to use 18650s.

Best of luck in your life circumstances. : (

Holy .... thank you saltysharktoes, that is PERFECT for someone in my financial situation. I have to check them out! Is the shipping good as well? :) Thank you so much, all of you. Your all making it easier for me to stay away from cigarettes! :D

*EDIT* OH, I forgot. I also wanted to update you all on something cool that happened today. I was talking to one of my old friends that I haven't seen in ages on the phone earlier. I told him that I was strapped for cash and that I was looking to buy a new e-cigarette. I didn't tell him that I was looking at the L-Rider/Vtube, just that I needed more e-cig supplies. He came back with what I thought was a miracle. He said he had tried vaping and HATED it. He said he had a 510 battery and charger that I could have. So, he stopped by and gave me a free 510 batt. So I'm really excited. Now I've got THREE 510 batteries that I can switch out. (However, one of my originals did get some juice in it, so that one is being used a lot less because it kind of turns the atomizers on and off as I drag) But I'm really happy because now I've basically got 3 batteries and I wont have to worry about charging as much while I'm at work. :D This is great.

Thank you all so much. I guess I CAN vape, even if I am sort-of... dirt poor.

I have a mini roughstack from mad vapes. It was my first Mod. I bought it at Vapefest in Vegas last Sept. It won't take the 18650 batt, but it is a good little mod to start with. The only problem I have with it is that plunger button, it works sometimes and other times I have problems getting it to fire. The one good thing is that you can replace it at Madvapes for a small price, it's always good when you can replace mod parts easily and cheaply. I had one in my cart to purchase the other day and then mine started working again and so I have put off ordering it.:p

I just wanted to come into this thread and thank everyone. Thank you all SO MUCH for all the help you've been offering to me. I'm SO grateful and it feels SO good to see I have all of these kind friends that I can talk to here on the ecf. :)

So, does anyone else have any favorite cheap mods? I am set on getting the Vtube from Apollo. Apollo's owner has spoken with me and he is helping me out and making everything easier and I'm forever grateful to Apollo E-cig Supply. I love you all for all the help.

I think MadVapes is an amazing website and recourse for anyone trying to kick cigarettes on a teeny budget. I also found Liberty-Flights to be very helpful when it comes to e-juice prices. Uhm, I also like any juice website that offers the $10/30ml deal of the week kind of thing. I know that VaporBomb, the site I chose to order from for my first order, not only has the $10.00 deal of the week, but they also send off a 5ml sample of a juice they have chosen for you. So you get 5ml of a new flavor that you may not have thought to buy. They sent me Passionfruit and I would have never ordered that, but I loved it.

Does anyone know of any juice suppliers that offer free shipping, or the deal of the week? Or does anyone know of any websites cheaper than $10/15 per 30ml?

Yeah, I thought the Roughstack or Mini Roughstack would be a good first mod. But, I wasn't sure why, haha. Do people consider the mini mods to be a replacement for your 510/901 or your Ego.. And then the full sized mods are for Home? I'm not sure why anyone would pick the mini model mods over the larger ones because they seem to be around the same price? Is it for size convenience or is it because they no longer use Ego or 510 type e-cigarettes and instead use mini mods?

Vapor renu sells cheap e-liquid. First time customer code is "renu" I think.
http://www.vaporrenew.com/index.php/home-products/nu-juice-liquid-refill.html

They are a vendor on this website. However, they don't interact like most. Under 10.00 for most.
When I started I bought from them. Flavors will taste different using different voltages/equipment. I was into menthol at the time so It was cheap for me. I do DIY now so its really cheap for me. Good luck!

I just ordered the Vtube from Apollo Ecig | High Quality E Cig | Best E cigarette Starter Kits. There is nothing better than receiving something you've been waiting for in the mail. I can't wait 3 to 7 days, god I wish it'd get here tomorrow! Unfortunately.. Almost as soon as I placed my order at Apollo I went to bring in my dog, Derk, and he was gone... I really do feel like crying and I probably will end up crying once I'm laying down with my eyes closed and nothing but my thoughts in a dark room. I feel HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! :(

But I am excited to receive the Vtube and I can't wait to post a review. Thank you Apollo, thank you so much. I could never have dreamed of owning a beautiful variable volt personal vaporizer a few months ago when I was unemployed. Thank you so much Everyone at Apollo for helping me out. And thank you to everyone in this thread for helping me make a decision and for helping me find good vendors with quality e-juice for people with teeny budgets. I really don't think I could continue vaping if I hadn't found a lot of the sites you've all referred me to. I would simply HAVE to continue smoking, at least on and off. Now, I am sure that I will be able to stay away from... "The Nasties.." Or.. "The Stinkies" Or.. "The Baddies" Or.. "The Analogues" Or.. "Those gross smoking cancer sticks." haha. I want to thank each of you in person but as you all know, I can't afford the plane tickets lol! I'll be looking for you all around the rest of the forum and I'll continue to private message anyone and everyone that helps me from this thread! I hope we can be friends. I need smokeless friends, haha. Thats actually why I'm trying to spend a lot of time here on the ECF. This place makes me feel like I belong to something.

OK so, do any of you know the cheapest place for DIY liquids? I hear making your own is cheaper than buying it. I am even interested in buying flavorless 18mg propolyne glycol if its cheaper than buying flavored juice!! haha.

Oh, and I'm also "sort-of" interested in the cheapest ego models. (OR mini mod? Is this what Mini Mods are used for?) I can't afford to buy an "Ego" type kit, (or anything else for that matter) anytime soon. (I just spent my life-savings on the Vtube... Which, sounds like a lot, but, the Vtube is probably the most reasonable priced mod I've ever seen.. So, that says a lot about how much life-savings I had saved up, haha.) And, I wont be needing another mod anytime soon either. But, I am interested in maybe selling these 510 batteries someday. Maybe in 3-4 months for instance... And maybe after I do that, I can start saving up some money and MAYBE get myself either an Ego type thing, or maybe even something like a 3.7v or, something like a 4 or 5 volt changeable battery mod? Basically i'm interested in Ego style mods, and mini mods? Is that why you guys buy the mini version of mods? Basically, 1 of my biggest questions is.. Are the Mini mods to replace using an Ego style device? Where-as the large style mods are your "main" PV/Personal Vaporizer?

So, your main PV is used at home, sometimes you'll take it out shopping OR you take it on vacations, etc. But your mini style (smaller battery style) mods are to replace everything I'll be using my 510 batteries for now? Like, maybe I'll bring them to work for break.. Maybe I'll take the 510 style into the grocery store and leave the Vtube in my glovebox for when I get out.. I'll take the 510 to places I need to keep a low profile and stealth vape.. But my Vtube will basically be for home use. (want to keep it nice and handsome lol)

iKNOWaGhost, I had to google BMV and I found someone referring to it here on ecf saying it was BlueMistVaping? If you want me to get rid of that, I'll edit this post and take it out, just let me know. I'm checking the site out right now, thank you!

*Edit* Wow iKnowaGhost, damn, it says that I can order 120ml of 36mg juice for $20! I already know where I will be ordering my juice from next Friday I guess! :D Thank you SO much, this is the kind of thing I seriously *need* to figure out if I want to vape and save for my future. Thank you iKaG, I appreciate this so much. This is why I keep coming to this thread to thank everybody. If it weren't for all these great suggestions I don't know what I'd do. *Edit* OK I went through the checkout on the BMV site and I see the s&h is $6.00. Not too bad considering I'd be getting 36mg 120ml of juice that I could mix with walmart VG to make even more for a grand total of $26.00. I'm excited to try this as soon as possible!

Yeah, their prices are extremely reasonable. Shipping is a bit steep, but in reality its pretty much actual shipping. They should ship it in a priority flat rate box which is $5.85. Glad you found my post helpful!

constant state of confusion
Hey Plumes, I have been following your thread but haven't posted til now. I make $60 a week and have for a very long time. It can be difficult to get started in vaping when you make so little. I was lucky, some nice people on ECF helped me out with that and I have been vaping now for 16 months today. The first few months were rough, but it gets easier, especially after things settle down and you find your vaping style. And it takes time to acquire the shiny things that tend to make us vapers drool and lust after.
16 months in, do I have more juice than I need, yep. Do I have more mods than I need, yep. I plot and plan every purchase I make and in the beginning, I made lots of bad ones. But vaping has not just become something I do. It's something I am. 99% of my friends now live in my computer screen. Heck, my fiance lives in my computer screen for now. I don't come home and plop myself in front of the tv any more. I am here at ECF and watching VapeTV. I live, eat, and breathe vaping now and I love. It saved my life in more ways than one.

Sorry I tend to ramble, I am just saying that vaping on our meager incomes can be done and it can be done well. If you ever need anything or any advice, feel free to pm me. I know what's its like. :)
