I'm sitting here trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing right now. I get paid on Thursday, and with still trying to get used to vaping, I ended with just enough e-liquid to fill 6 cartomizers. That has to last me until past Thursday when I place my order for more liquid. In the meantime, I started playing around with 3 cartomizers by filling them with a mix of VG and distilled water. I still feel the need to have nic, but it feels like I'm getting something. Is it all in my mind?

I'm not sure if this is in the right area, so please move if need to be.

Ouch...

Well, I hope the VG & water ones help. There's something to be said for the placebo / pacifier effect. Good luck!

I've always been a "survivalist" of sorts... I stockpile food like a Mormon, lol. So it just comes naturally for me to keep at least a couple months worth of juice in the closet. Getting down to the wire on my supplies just puts way too much stress on me. Stock up until you start to have concerns about shelf-life, and avoid this in the future :)

About the watered down VG. It helped me when I ran out of juice just days after I quit smoking.
I live out in the sticks and the closest little town to me has an old fashioned, family owned drug store that carries Humco USP Vegetable Glycerin and about 30 or 40 different LorAnn's candy flavorings so when I ran out of juice I tried thinning some VG and adding just some English Toffee flavoring. It helped a lot and tasted pretty darn good.
The placebo effect is huge for me. I think that's why other NRT techniques never worked for me and vaping does. I feel the vapor in my airways and see a cloud so I don't feel like I've given anything up.
For me, the physical nic. addiction is easy to deal with compared to Psychological habit.

Same here. I play with DIY a lot and start off at 0 nicotine on many for flavor testing. I don't seem to miss a lot at zero even though my typical strength is around 18mg for my "all day vape". I could probably lower my nicotine again (started vaping at over 30-36mg) but now I have 20-30 bottles of stuff to vape through...LOL.

I'm just getting started and haven't had the chance to do any stockpiling. So far my budget has only let me use between $50 and $75 every other Thursday to order anything. The last 2 paydays consisted of getting the pv and cartomizers. In that time, I was able to stretch out what came with my pv on the initial order. I've spent the past 2 days trolling the boards for any of the suppliers giving "specials". Think I found one that I'm going to try though.

Hey, whatever works to tide you over is good (well, as long as its not nasty!). As long as you're not off to buy a pack of stinkies like i did at the first sign of trouble...lol. It is good that you've gotten creative with your juice and i bet that will make what you order taste that much better! Have you tried DIY juice? That might be helpful to you too... just sayin. :)

It is not a big deal.............

It's a big deal to me. I was trying hard not to cry when you pm me about sending me some. I really wasn't asking for help, just wondering if anyone else did this when they ran low. I will let you know when they get here.

I just can't say thank you enough!!!!
