So, I've built coils forever in the kayfun, from dual, to chimney coil, to reg style straight foward, When I had my protank I took them apart and made micro coils with cotton. I just said that to show I've done them before, and have a Ohm meter and also use Coil Toy - Online calculator for e-cigarette resistance coil building to guestamte what I'm working around.
Anyhow, I just got a cheap nembus clone, and I mean its a cheap one, drilled out the hole for more air flow. Here's my problem. Ok, now I know one of them is, the only mod I have is the Smoktech SID but. No matter what coil I build be it dual 1.2 - 1.5ohmz or a single, whatever circumference, whatever gauge what I have 32, 29, 28 I cant get it to create mass vapor with the bell off. I've wicked it so many different ways, Watched RIP Trippers videos on his wicking styles, others. The other problem is when I do get "some" decent pulling the vape up with the top cap on, and then using it, the vape is super cool. I like my Kayfun style WARM vape. No matter how I build it, I've gone through so many techniques, I can't get it to be warm or just produce (with top cap off) the vape that you see in videos. So the only thing I can think of, is the addy being the cheap nimbus clone mixed with the Smoktech SID. I'm out of ideas of what coil to make above 1.2ohmz to get a good warm vape, with decent vapor... Long rant but I had to tell the story I've messed with the last few hours or more. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!
