I'm in the same boat. Got laid off after 9 years at the end of May, have been pretty lazy about searching over the summer. That's gotta change. Indeed is a good site, I check it daily.

Well I'm early 20s. I live on the northern east coast in a very expensive state. I specialize in retail dirty work, deli sandwiches, telemarketing, janitorial services and unskilled labor. But I'm really good at having achey ankles and kneecaps, psyching myself into thinking I'm being paid to be a mindless zombie, hating every job i've ever had, and not lasting more than 6 to 9 months. I've got no secondary education, though I'm trying to get into the community college once I have my license. I have to wait another month and a half to take the road test. But I already know that I'll do horrible in math and possibly fail miserably unless I spend every waking minute learning everything I managed to not care about learning in highschool. And although I can think positively, I don't exactly have a record of rising like a phoenix.
