I Need a simple solution to test DIY liquid

Being a n00b and using the Vapor King (KR808D-1) as my 1st ecig, I am venturing into the DIY juice. I can't see using the cartomizer as a test bed for juice flavor testing as they tend to hold the flavor in the batting material. Adding new juice to the cartomizer just changes the last juice a little. What "INEXPENSIVE" device would you recommend for testing juice mixtures and where might I obtain such a device?

I know I should be putting this in the DIY section but I'm a V4L fan so thought I would ask here.

I got an adapter for a 510 atty that fits the KR battery. Easy way to test.

There are several vendors that sell adapters, should be under $30 for the adapter plus 2 atomizers.

Buy a couple of 901 Attys! They work perfect on the KR808D-1 (VK) batteries.

Yea thats probably easier, I forgot about the 901s fitting when I got mine.

OK I will try the 901 atomizers. Is there a cartridge I need to attach to these atty's? I'm not really familiar with the 3 peice units. I'm guessing from what I've read that you just drip juice on the atomizer only. Do I need a tip or something to screw on the atomizer?

You can get empty carts if you want, but the attys usually come with whistle tips and you can just drip on the atty if you want. And there is no such thing as a "dumb@$$" question

Yep, that's me! Thanks! I actually own a video production biz and have a slew of pro gear, but the cam that I used for that was the Canon 5DMKII and I used a Sennheiser wireless lav kit for sound.

That's what I would suggest for testing flavors. It'll be a lot quicker and easier to "clean" out one flavor before testing the next.

Trust me, I almost vaped myself sick working my way through all the V4L liquids last week. Hey, gotta be familiar with the stock, right?

Wanted to add: I don't advise dripping if you are using an auto battery(considering its unsealed). Also, when using empty carts with a 901 atty, you may want to cut a little bit off of the end that goes into the atty(especially with whistle tips), that way it doesnt matter how the tip goes into the atty. (Or is this only a concern on the 510s?)

I'll keep that in mind, I'll be using the uber manual battery. I ordered (2) 901 atomizers and they look like they come with the whistle tip, so based on Ryguy's suggestion I should not need the empty cartridge correct?

You will use the empty cart that comes with the atty, but should not need to buy any. Unless you want to tail-pipe it and not use a mouthpiece at all...lol
