I decided to get a kgo vv battery along with the kit from Hoosier and threw in a pack of boge cartomizers, a vision dual coil atomizer, vison clearomizer, pack of prefilled cartridges (they were super cheap). I have some juices coming from Rawr, and will probably look today for a few more to try from somewhere else in that top ejuices thread..if anyone has a favorite ejuice vendor I'm open for suggestions! Mostly I hope that I don't blow anything up..I'm still a bit confused about the technical details re ohms and volts and threads. I *think* Kgo, ego, 510 threaded things should mostly be compatible? And I still don't get what a drip tip is. Clearomizers..cartomizers..atomizers..seems like a lot of new tricks for an old dog to learn, but I'm looking forward to my packages now! Thank you all, this forum is great.

Welcome !

I took the rich boy approach and skipped the middle mods and bought a Provari V2, a couple Vivi Nova 2.5s, although I really want to try a Z-Atty-Pro I fear it'll never be in stock, provape pushed it from this friday to Nov!

Just make sure you buy 2 of everything !

Drip tips do 2 things besides looking cool I think, keep your lips cool bc ur further away from heating element and help distribute drops to the side.

This chart should help with ohms and voltage

Im new too and I feel you, but between ecf and youtube, you will be awesome! 2 people I watch on youtube now are GrimmGreen and PBusardo

Dont listen to the guys about the Ego's and all the rest. I read the "wall of text" (seriously you're on a text based forum and you dont expect to have to read occasionally?) and if you were a 3 pack a day smoker those devices arent going to cut it for you.You need something with 18650 batteries in it and variable voltage. Variable voltage devices let you tailor the voltage to the juice, giving you more flavor and also allowing you to adjust for longer battery life. You can also make the hit harsher or lighter (like smoking a light versus a full flavor) The price of a Provari might seem steep initially but like the guy posted above me, you'll save money and will be happier in the long run.

I would also recommend adding a tank like a Phiniac. At 3 packs a day you would be filling an Ego tank like 20 times in a 16 hour period.A good pyrex tank will let you vape any liquid, have a better taste and you'll only have to fill it a couple of times.

Just noticed that you ended up taking their advice before I posted this. Dont get frustrated because they arent working for you. All of us are here to help and you can use those as a backup when you do decide to get a Provari.

Yeah I imagine the provari isn't too far off in the future for me, but it's a little beyond my budget atm anyhow. I did get a vv battery along with the regular ones, and it's all going to beat Njoys (and Newports) My husband pointed out that when I smoke I very often go through almost an entire cigarette without actually smoking it..a lot of it for me is holding it. Which is extra stupid at 6.50 a pack eh, but there you go. All of this has been really helpful, now I just need my stuff. Yay!

That was a lot of my problem too. The cigarettes would just burn up quick. I have my ecig in my hand most of the day, whether I vape or not. I just got my provari last week and actually with the 18650 batt is almost too heavy to carry around. It is a great piece of equip but would be much easier for me to carry around the mini provari. That will be one of my next purchases along with a spinner.

So I can not relate to the trials you and your body have gone through and my warmest wishes go out to you.

I can how ever relate to the ritual of smoking and I have go to say starting out in the ecig world really is over welming. Now that I have been vaping for a while I have new desires and expectations as to what I want out of my PV. But to put myself back at the begining Vapor for Life was it for me. Part of me regrets the money I spent becasue I have almost completely out grown them but I don't think the change would have been possiable without them.

I really liked the Auto-Titans and yes lots of people with bash them becasue 1 out of 3 work the way it should, on the up side V4L will contenue to trade them with you till you get a good one. This is of coarse more pain then anyone wants but in the end it was worth it to me. I would definatly start there again. With a couple packs of cartos and your off.

If I had it to do all over again, I wish I was not as intemidated about switching to the tanks and filling them as I was and had gotten off cartos sooner.

Wish you luck on your journey!!
