I need help finding a good 21700 battery.

That is better, especially at that price.

The sizing is the issue: if it works for you then great.

I have had problems with non-standard sized batteries in the past.

I’ll stick with the Samsungs.

That is why I've been hesitant to purchase any 20700 or 21700 batteries. I was just unsure that they would properly fit in the two mods I have that can use them. Those two (an Armor and a Cold Steel) also came with an 18650 adapter so I just stuck with the 1/2 dozen 650's I already have.

I don’t know if the mod is the problem, or the wrap.

I will re-wrap if I ever get an out-sized battery again, just to see if that helps.

I kind of avoid re-wraps these days. Learned that lesson early on.

Sorry to hijack the thread,just wanted to come in and thank you for all the useful info.
Hopefully soon (if my Jackarook gets delivered from Hong Kong) ill be in the market for some 21700 batteries so all these posts were really useful.

I had to settle for the ugliest of them all....Red Ridge,it was the cheapest at the moment and all i could afford,21.62$ the mod and with delivery it came up to 29.59$,not a bad deal huh?

No biggie,when i can ill just buy the replacement panel in Obsidian Black.

Big shout out to @markfm who first posted about the offer,then another shout out to @Uncle who told me about it.

Sure looks sexy in black,using a Wasp Nano RTA at the moment,way to shiny i want to go full black so ill have to replace my atty one of these days.
One of the attys ive seen that would look great on the Jackaroo is the
Squid Industries Peacemaker 25mm RTA,that is one sexy atty!!

p.s. what do you mean by wiggle room? like rattle or that it just slips in without resistance?
